5 out of 5 eggsAll is Well

Pros: Its capable of running at advertised speed of 1600. But for some reason has it at 1333. Im assuming my MOBO or CPU out it at default. Runs well though...NO problems

Cons: When i try to run it at 1600(As advertised) it sets all the Cas/RAS Delay/RAS pre to 11 clocks not 9
My Cycle Time(tRAS) - 27 not 24
It feels like im overclocking which i should not be

Other Thoughts: Other than that......runs fine no problem at all
I plan to Dual channel it which i am as of today(2 more gigs)
Would recommend

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mem over all

Pros: This thing is amazing ...installed it on a new i7 920 build and everything just seems to be lightning fast, I currently only have one stick runing as i don't need the other 3 sticks that i will be getting as i'm still piecing my new machine together and i can just imagine what 6 more gigs will do ...

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: the blue heat spreader goes well with my MOBO fan lights and case lighting .

5 out of 5 eggsFine by me

Pros: The ram went in without a hitch. Ran at advertised speeds. Great price, will buy more.

Cons: Didn't seem to like overclocking much. Very finicky with voltages and didn't require much to become unstable

Other Thoughts: Win 7 64bit
2gb Kingston HyperX 1600 DDR3
AMD athlon ll 3.0 GHz overclocked by 15%
Radeon 4350
Stock cooling

5 out of 5 eggsFast, stable RAM

Pros: Fast, stable RAM that has a high compatibility rate with most motherboards. When you don't have an unlocked multiplier on your processor and you have to raise the FSB to overclock, 1600 is much more preferable than running 1333 and having to underclock it a lot.

Cons: Timings aren't super tight, but then again, the voltage is reasonable as well and the speed more than makes up for it. When you check benchmarks, the 1600 DDR3 ends up being faster than running 1333 at tightened latency. Most motherboards won't run it initally at full speed, but that's the motherboard's fault and not the RAM. Just manually set the clock speed in the BIOS and all will be well.

5 out of 5 eggsGood solid ram

Pros: DDR3 1600, Kingston and the price

Cons: nothing.

Other Thoughts: it runs at 667 but that can be changed in the bios so no big deal there

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: It's memory. It works. 2GB's is fine for XP, will install another 2GB when I upgrade to Windows 7.

GigaByte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H
WD Black 640GB
AMD Sempron 140 w/ 2nd core unlocked

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Kingston makes good memory. MB did not immediately recognize at DDR3 1600, had to adjust in Bios like others. Not a big deal though.

1 out of 5 eggsSigh...

Pros: RMA'd it day I got it. Ran all tests, all pointed to this RAM and being faulty.

So, no pros....

Cons: See above.

Other Thoughts: I understand things happen, and not all RAM is created equal... bound to be one bad one in the batch... just sad I got the bad one.
