Towards the high end of the accepted voltage on newer chipsets, but still safe. Runs cool under stress Shiny! (seriously, these things look WAY better in person lol) Cons: None at all. Slammed it in, booted it up. (minor adjustments to get to 1600) Other Thoughts: As mention, took some slight BIOS adjustments to change from 1333 to 1600, as my Asus P8Z68-V/GEN 3 defaults the ram to 1333 in order to ensure a safe and compatible start up upon first installing. The newer stick I got had a different heatspreader than what was shown in the picture, kingston may have changed, but I was a little worried that I had bought the wrong version. With a little investigation I found they are actually the same, it's just annoying because the heatspreaders on the 2 sticks I have don't match. Did you find this review helpful? This RAM is very fast. Much faster than my Corsair DDR2 1066.
