5 out of 5 eggsno issues, awesome curvature and designs

Pros: Awesome case. Solid, yet comfy. The design is sick as hell and the curvature on the back helps with shock absorption.

Cons: Dust caps are small and easy to lose due to no attachment to the case.
The lock button is takes a little extra effort although i got used to it quick. (Maybe i have hulk fingers idk) haha

Other Thoughts: Awesome case nontheless!! I wouldnt pick any other for the price!

5 out of 5 eggsNo complaints

Pros: Pegged right in, no problems. I bought this set to supplement a 2x2GB set I had installed previously, and it has now tripled my RAM with no problems. Did not have to adjust timings for this second set of RAM.

Cons: Not CAS 7, I suppose. Perhaps it can handle it though? I'm not going to test to find out.

You may have to adjust the timings in the bios settings, as I did when I first installed Kingston memory- although when expanding the RAM, the mobo did not default back to slower timings, which is convenient.

Other Thoughts: As I said, I bought this to expand the 4 gigs I had previously installed. Needed to adjust the bios settings the first time to get CAS 9, but this time the board kept the faster settings.

I really wanted to get Mushkin, seeing as it's an American company, hand tested units, etc. But, I kept the same brand as I expanded to avoid mixing voltages and timings and having to excessively adjust bios settings. For what it's worth, Kingston states on their packaging that their units are hand tested as well.

5 out of 5 eggsMy Favorite Brand

Pros: Used this brand in my last build, no problems at all.
Price is good.

Cons: None really. However, be aware with DDR3 in general that has "XMP Profile", because it will DEFAULT to 1.65 volts,
even if rated to run at 1.5.

Other Thoughts: Just make sure to enter bios/setup and make sure these
are not defaulted to "XMP Profile", which is 1.65 volts if you want them at 1.5 say, then simply re set to 1.5 volts for cool running.

2 out of 5 eggsMany Issues

Pros: It worked under one scenario.

Cons: I managed to get it to work on an i7 build with asrock mobo when not paired with any other RAM. Any time I tried another set with it (G Skill or Patriot), I got a boot loop.

Recently tried it on my new Celeron 1155 set on a gigabyte h77 mini-atx and I got a boot loop.

Nothing but trouble.

Other Thoughts: I've never had RAM do this to me. I will stick to other manufacturers in the future.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Ram

Pros: Attractive blue heat-sink
Works reliably

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's ram and it works with my Phenom II 965 running at it's full rated speed and timings (although this is technically an overclock on the RAM controller in the Phenom).

5 out of 5 eggsKingston is just TOO good.

Pros: Runs full speed, no timing issues, XMP is great.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Seriously? SERIOUSLY!?!?! There is no other brand of memory out there where I have plugged it in and it just work, and I mean work FOREVER. I have a Socket 478 motherboard from 2004 that has DDR2 Kingston that runs like a champ still. I originally purchased Mushkin memory for this machine in 2010 and it died in 2 years. I purchased G.Skill memory for a friend(it was on the compatibility list for the MB) and I was on the phone with both the motherboard company and G. Skill figuring out why the XMP wouldn't work. I popped a stick of this Kingston Memory in there, ran the XMP no problem and I was able to get an RMA from G. Skill.

It is DEFIANTLY worth the extra $5-$15 more than the other brands. No hassle, no problem.

4 out of 5 eggsWorked for 100 Days

Pros: Dependable while it lasted, no complaints until about 100 days after build. Well-reviewed and well-priced.

Cons: One of the modules starting causing system crashes quite suddenly last weekend--the PC was assembled in late October 2012. I'm in the process of RMA back to Kingston now. We'll see how that goes; I don't expect to have any trouble with the customer service department of such a well-reputed company.

Other Thoughts: Fingers crossed for a good RMA process, until then minus one egg for dying within a year of purchase.
