They work like RAM should... Cons: Recent price increases seem like price fixing to me. Other Thoughts: Was using Crucial RAM for years. The boards can't read the 256MB chips on this memory. They will cost more, but you are better off going with some Corsair Vengeance memory instead. Pros: My Intel DP55WG motherboard is very picky about which 4 Gig memory chips are compatible, I installed 4 of these sticks and booted without any issue whatsoever. Plus extra bonus points for actually fitting underneath my CPU cooler (It overhangs 2 memory slots preventing the use of any chips with over-sized heat-sinks.) Very pleased with my purchase.
