5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: i got it for $25, it did at least 12 hours prime95 with no errors, works no problem with my old set of Kingston HyperX 2x2gb and it LOOKS AWESOME.

Cons: it runs at 1333 not 1600 but my AMD 955 only supports 1333 and my old RAM is 1333

but can anyone tell the difference between 1333 and 1600 i certainly can't so please STOP giving RAM bad reviews because of this

Other Thoughts: if i put two computers in front of you and the only difference between them is one has 1333Mhz RAM and the other with 1600Mhz RAM you probably can't tell the difference between them

please spread this message along on all of your RAM reviews

5 out of 5 eggsGood memory

Pros: Does what it is designed for, no problem installing it or anything.
Looks cool, the black and chrome contrast is really nice, along with the Hyper X logo not too flashy.

Cons: Had to change the memory clock frenquency to 1600mhz in the bios, because it'll be recognized as 1333 memory. I knew it before buying it, so it won't cost Kinston an egg... but it should definitly be written somewhere, so people can be advised before buying it. It was pretty easy to change in the uefi bios tho, so it's not that much of a problem.

Other Thoughts: Worth it, I bought it in a 72hrs sale, I'm really happy with what I got!

5 out of 5 eggsNo Complaints

Pros: Works great, no issues. Heat-spreaders seems to work great. I was able to overclock these a bit.

Cons: Nothing worth noting here.

Other Thoughts: Bought this on BlackFriday 2012. Worked flawlessly, even good for a little overclocking.

5 out of 5 eggsTotally problem free

Pros: Used the Kingston HyperX Black in building my very first new computer based on an Asus P8Z77-V-LK motherboard. I had saved a lot of notes about what to do in case of memory problems but these chips booted up flawlessly.

Cons: No cons. I hope you can find as good a New Egg sale as I did!

5 out of 5 eggsNo Problems

Pros: Solid construction, no complaints...

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Put 8 Gigs of this in an ASUS Sabertooth Z77 motherboard with an i7-3770 CPU and it booted right up with no problem... Had to manually set it to 1600 in the BIOS, but that's no big deal... System is running great so far...

3 out of 5 eggsFalsely Advertised

Pros: Looks nice. Does what it says.

Cons: This is not 1600 Ram but 1333 RAM. Bios recognizes it as 1333, and CPU-Z says it's PC3 - 10700.

Other Thoughts: Must run @ 1.65 volts, not the more-usual 1.5 volts, but I knew that before my purchase anyhow.

I would just buy some "real" 1600 Ram, not this, especially if you plan on overclocking the ram, as you basically have to overclock this "1333" RAM to get it to run at 1600 anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid RAM

Pros: I have this paired with the HyperX Red at the same voltage and latency. They seem to be working flawlessly together. Haven't changed the speed at all in the BIOS, but working like a charm at stock 1333

Cons: none
