1 out of 5 eggsWill not run at 2400

Pros: Looks nice.

Cons: Will not run at 2400. Enabled XMP profile in bios, wouldn't boot. Then loaded values manually including voltage and still would not boot. Having to run it a 2133, and its stable at this speed. Got this for my GA-Z97x-Gaming G1 running F6 bios.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. We apologize for the issue experienced with they HyperX Beast memory. HyperX memory is tested to properly reach advertised overclock speeds but results may vary depending on the system configuration. For best results make sure to install the memory in the recommended Dual Channel configuration per your motherboard manual, slots DDR3_1 and DDR3_2 (http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-z97x-gaming-g1_e.pdf). For further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you.

Thank you for selecting Kingston as your upgrade partner.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sucker is fast
Looks Cool
Runs Cool

Cons: Runs at 1.65 Volts, but that was expected.

Other Thoughts: Most people having issues with these not running at 2400 speeds didn't overclock the ram voltage.

Know what you are buying and you will loves this.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal

Pros: Fast, Lifetime warranty, good price and nice color scheme for my build

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this ram to ensure I wouldn't need to buy more for many years. Quite honestly it's major overkill for most people's computing needs but if you're planning for the future I highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggsBeast as advertised

Pros: 16gb of high speed ram. Whats not to like? Put into new z87 build with g1 sniper 5 mobo. Change a couple settings in bios, BAM, 2400MHZ.

Cons: Honestly. None that I can find. My haswell doesnt overclock well. That is the only disappointment of my build

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Good price.

Cons: Have an issue trying to run it at 2400 but I am fairly confident its MB bug in the bios that isn't letting it.

Other Thoughts: Have owned many sticks of kingston over the years. They aren't always the fasted in speeds or the fanciest in looks but they are always reliable and the best bang for the buck!

5 out of 5 eggsTHE BEAST

Pros: *Nice looking heat spreader
*2400Mhz
*Made by Kingston (Pro for me :)
*Black

Cons: *Price? (Wasn't an issue for me)

Other Thoughts: Don't be alarmed be the CAS Latency. If you're gonna be using this for gaming (like I am) It is always better to go for higher speeds. This thing is a BEAST!!!
