5 out of 5 eggsGreat laptop memory

Pros: Plugged in, works great, fully accessible with not errors on memory test. Exactly what you would expect from Kingston.

Cons: None. Over a year out and these modules are still showing full capacity available.

Other Thoughts: These were used in a HP dv6-1259dx laptop.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Good

Pros: Lots of Ram

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This went into a White Macbook that was un-usable because of speed. This RAM and a SSD turned it into a monster of a computer. Well worth the upgrade. Now the girlfriend is happy.

5 out of 5 eggsThe cheaper way to upgrade

Pros: One thing I don't like about Apple products is that upgrading and parts are more expensive than their PC counterparts, but this is a much better way to address that issue.

Cons: Really make sure that your Macbook can handle the larger memory or you'll be wasting your money. Yes, this can happen...

Other Thoughts: Really make sure that your Macbook can handle the larger memory.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for older Macbooks

Pros: Worked right away with no problems in a 2008 black Macbook. Macbook seems to handle more programs and CS5 a bit easier.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsmac = garbage

Pros: this ram increases the gb capasity of macbook so it dosent freeze every time i open a program

Cons: Where to start!! first ddr2 667 is not fast ram
second why cant mac get 800 ram like the rest of the world? will mac users always be a step behind windows based pc's? what makes you so special that you need special MAC ram ooooooooohhhhhh specialy slow for you mac users out there. get a real computer instead of upgrading the piece you are on now with full upgrade potential.

Other Thoughts: if you had to watch a video on youtube to find how to install this ram your tech knowledge should be a 1.
ram is the EASIEST thing to instal in a computer even if you had to install it in those comfusing things they call macs.

no more lockups with newer versions of OSX

Cons: well I started with 2gb which wasn't fun...

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great in my Macbook PRO 2007

Pros: I have this in my Macbook Pro 3,1 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2Ghz. This brought me from 2GB to 4GB which has made a big difference in speed. I often have a huge iTunes library open, which wants to take one GB as well as my online backup software which can take over a GB. Those two alone ate up my 2 GB. Now with four I can run these and bootcamp under Fusion and not be slowed down by page swapping!

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I followed directions on the Internet for installing this. I made very sure I was gentle installing this, and that I had the memory installed correctly. It is easy to install this into a Macbook and have it look correct, but not be all the way seated. Take a digital photo before you remove the old memory and make sure it looks just the same when you have installed the new memory. Having it not seated right is not good on your motherboard.
