Good memory, I was just unlucky

Pros: This is good memory from a reputable company. I bought four sticks and unfortunately one stick was DOA. It took this genius an hour to figure it out.

Cons: Received one bad stick out of four - that's a 25% failure rate. I would still buy this brand again though.

Pros: Very nice. Fast.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I went through a slight panic when I couldn't find the compatability specs for KVR800D2K2 w/my motherboard. I eventually called Kingston and found that this is the retail equivalent to KVR800D2N5K2 RAM (which you might happen to notice is about $20 more expensive under that number...) So this works very well and is at a sweet discount.

Pros: All my computers use Kingston RAM/

Cons: Have not had a issue w/Kingston.

Other Thoughts: One time I had a Kingston RAM module fail..it was almost a year old..it was replaced free of charge..by New EGG(if I remember correctly)was a long time ago.

Pros: its fast, and it was cheap. well when it is working.

Cons: i got my first set put it in the motherboard and got a memory error right away, wouldnt even boot bios! newegg was great and sent another set, one of that set did not work thankfully out of the total four i got 2 sticks did work and that is what i paid for.

Other Thoughts: usually im an ocz or gskill but this was cheap , id stick to there higher priced ddr2 it will save you from the pain
