Bought 4 gigs, good performance.
- Pros: I purchased 2 of these 2 gig packages, amounting to 4 gigs of RAM. Great buy, even though it's a bit pricey. I've always bought Kingston and have never had problems.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: They'd be cooler if they had heatsinks.
- Pros: I also have the DX38BT. This memory is recommended and you can save urself time and money by just going with this memory. Intel will then move on with your troubleshoot if you have any problems. If you decided to buy unauthorized memory then tough luck dealing with intel. As far as the performance I would say its worth the money considering the "new-ness" of the memory.
- Cons: Wish it had a heat spreader or something of that sort and also wish that it was 4 gigs instead of 2 for this high price tag.
- Other Thoughts: IF YOU HAVE A DX38BT GO WITH THIS MEMORY JUST TO COVER YOURSELF. IF YOU HAVE A TECHNICAL ISSUE, U DONT WANT TO CALL INTEL AND THEN THEY TELL YOU THAT ITS THE MEMORY WHEN YOU KNOW HONESTLY ITS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PROBLEM. JUST BUY THE MEMORY THEY WANT YOU TO HAVE SO THAT YOU CAN TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE WARRANTY AND TECH SUPPORT.
Stable memory
- Pros: Certified for Intel DX38BT motherboard. Stable and fast. Go with Intel CPU/Motherboard/Kingston RAM combination if you want speed and reliability.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: Works very well in Intel DX38BT motherboard (certified memory from their website). I have not had any memory errors or problems with this onboard. Intel QX6850, Intel DX38BT mobo, 2GB Kingston DDR3 (this product), 2x ATI Radeon 3870X2 in CrossfireX, X-Fi Extreme Gamer, 150 GB Raptor, PC Power and Cooling 1KW. All works well.
