Pros: Added this kit to my second gen. MacBook Pro.

It ran great! Just as expected. No issues or corrupted memory.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've been purchasing Kingston memory for quite a while and have yet to be dissapointed.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked well in my Mac Mini

Pros: Pretty good price and it worked in my 2009 Mac Mini.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have a 1.83Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac Mini. It only had 1 Gig of memory installed. That's not enough to run the latest installment of OS X. I bought this because I seen one user review that had upgraded his Mini with this RAM. The install is kinda hairy but with the help of Youtube videos I got it done and it works fine! My Mini now reports 4 Gig of RAM and I can upgrade to lion.

5 out of 5 eggs'R' means "Retail"

Pros: Great option for Mac folks.

Cons: This particular item is $4 more than the KTA-MB667K2/4G.
The 'R" means "Retail." This was explained to me by the folks at Kingston. I suppose what you're paying for with this item labeled 'R' is the pretty packaging—more suited to be displayed in a retail store. Save yourself a few bucks and get the other item ;)

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: The RAM was easy to install in my late 2007 15 inch MacBook Pro. I noticed an immediate performance boost when I restarted the machine and have been very happy over the following days. Can't imagine why I didn't buy this memory earlier.

Cons: None that I can think of.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper AWeeeesomeee

Pros: Best price for upgrading your Mac computer.

Cons: It was a bit more than the regular memory stick. This allows your computer to boot, while the regular non-Apple versions wont.

Other Thoughts: Apple charges so much for memory upgrades, they forget newegg exist.

4 out of 5 eggsNo problems so far

Pros: Was easy to install, followed youtube video on how to take out old memory in macbook, put new in, works like a charm.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Maybe price is a little high, would be nice to see this on sale. A little too much for laptop memory
