Pros: Fast & stable when everything's working right; good value...hence the name
Cons: One bad stick out of the box; Kingston moved production (and evidently their quality control too) to China :(; You have to return BOTH sticks even if just one of them is bad
Other Thoughts: I used to always swear by Kingston for my computer memory needs, but now I'm beginning to question myself. What used to be a top-notch manufacturer has decided to move production overseas, assumingly as a means of cutting costs. Each and every memory module I've owned previously has proudly stated "Made in U.S.A." on the box, this one "Made in China." Low and behold I received my first bad memory stick ever, which was making my computer freeze and failing MemTest like none other. A bad memory stick? Something so critical as this you should never have to think twice about if it's going to be DOA or not.
So anyways, I said to myself "no biggie, I can live with 2GB in my system while I RMA the other one." They said NO! Because the memory is sold as a kit they said I'd have to send both sticks in. So, obviously, I just took the path of sending it back to NewEgg and had them ship me two new properly functioning memory modules very promptly. So in the end it worked alright though

Pros: This memory is great. Worked right out of the box. Maybe not as fast as the high performance overclocking memory but I never noticed any difference. No more BSOD. Works perfect in my computer with 8 Gig and Vista.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Be sure to check what memory is compatable with your motherboard. If you want troublefree memory, try this memory -- very stable.

Pros: Ram chips are low profile, without heat sinks, and do not impede cables or air flow from CPU fan. They are quite reasonably priced, and for the money, in my opinion, are a better buy than high performance RAM.
