Other Thoughts: Have used a lot of Corsair over the years. I'm now a Crucial guy but these worked fine in my previous machine.

Hard to beat Corsair.

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: 2 gigs is a good amount of memory for a single stick. Excellent price. Excellent performance. What more could you want?

Cons: The only thing I can think of is that during the BIOS memory check, it pauses on the last 24 megs of memory before calling it complete. But I can't attribute this to the memory for certain. Memtest86+ doesn't complain. When running apps or playing games I don't get any memory errors. It could very well just be some random BIOS hiccup.

Other Thoughts: I've been buying Corsair memory since PC100 SDRAM was cool and new. Mainly the Value Select series. I tend to buy the value brand of most anything and I expect to get burned here or there, but the tradeoff in price balances everything out. Corsair memory, even the Value Select series, has yet to burn me in all these years.
