5 out of 5 eggsMore of the same quality I've come to expect from XMS RAM

Pros: Works flawlessly and was recognized correctly on an Asus P6X58D-E, a reason I have used only XMS RAM in my systems for 10 years or so.

Cons: It would be nice if Corsair threw in an XMS sticker or something.

Other Thoughts: The first three timing values are equal; 7-7-7-20. This is nice when you have/want to manually assign the RAM timings. Some manufacturers swap the second and third values, this doesn't matter if they're the same.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Memory

Pros: Three sticks with no DOAs. No errors, no problems of any kind. Paid a little more for slightly lower latency, and I'm happy with it.

Cons: 50 bucks more than some other 6 GB sets.

Other Thoughts: Is it really worth 50 bucks to get the latency down from 9 to 7? I don't know. Would you ever notice it? Probably not. But at least you'll have bragging rights :)

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Excellent performace RAM. Got mine to just over 1800 at 8-8-8-24-2T timings and passed 3D Mark. Stable, no trouble memory. XMP profiles work as well. Used Asus P6TD.

Cons: Cost is a bit on the high side.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid

Pros: Put 6 sticks (12Gig) of this into a EVGA X58 with I7 975 and clocked it to 7-7-7-20 at 1.5v right from the start. No performance or reliability issues at all. Gotta love Corsair.

Cons: They may seem pricey, but for the speed and size - not all that bad. At 1.65v they do run a bit hot, especially in a limited airflow environment. Even at the cooler 1.5v I dedicated a 40mm fan to the sticks to protect the investment.

Other Thoughts: The Corsair website, though not the greatest for finding info, has more detailed timing and voltage information than what comes in the package.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent stuff

Pros: As advertised, will run 7-7-7-20 1T at 1600MHz on an x58 platform. I'm currently running an i7 920 at 4.2GHz (Asus P6T Deluxe V2) and have the memory running running right along with a 2:8 ratio (800 x 2) with 1.64v.

Cons: DDR3 costs have risen significantly over the past 6 weeks. I paid much less for this memory when I first purchased it. But this is the case with all memory.
