5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM Sticks!

Pros: Bought (2X4GB) back in 2012. It's 2015 now, and I have used them everyday since then, and they are still working with no problems. I just bought another set to fill the rest of the slots in my mainboard.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsBeen using since 2011; very happy

Pros: Reliable

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've had these sticks (2 x 4GB) in my desktop since 2011, and have been very pleased! I'm coming back today to purchase another set.

3 out of 5 eggsHit and Miss

Pros: First set I bought a year ago has been rock solid reliable. Very reasonable price.

Cons: Second set I bought a couple months ago have caused hard-locks randomly when gaming or doing anything memory intensive. Not even a bsod to help troubleshoot.

Other Thoughts: I've had very good experience with Corsair products in the past, having used Corsair RAM almost exclusively for the past 15 years. This is the first defective set I've had and I do not look forward to the RMA process, nor the mystery sticks they will likely send back.

5 out of 5 eggsIf you can't dodge it, RAM it!

Pros: RAMmy goodness in convenient stick form

Heatsink is small but effective-looking...? Everything needs a heatsink nowdays.

Never seem to hit more than 4 or 5 GB in use on Total War II, Skyrim, Borderlands 2. That's with a GTS 250 512 MB and games playing straight from an old fashioned spinny hard drive.

It's still available over a year later, and I think it's $30 cheaper now. I might just buy some more, fill those sad empty holes in my board...

As stated, does not look ridiculous. Black is good, very low key. Can't avoid fans and GPUs without lights on 'em these days, I don't want to see a screenshot of the Lego City Game when I look down there. I mean, we all know that fins are great for heat, but when I see RAM with baby blue paint and tops that look like fro picks or something I move on immediately.

Cons: Perhaps could make products more pirate themed to fit with the corsair ship...but still LOW KEY.

Other Thoughts: Adjusted mobo voltage to achieve the exact voltage.

5 out of 5 eggsNo complaints

Pros: Heat spreader adds virtually no height to memory allowing room for large CPU heatsink to be used without interference.

Cons: none.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't expect to last

Pros: -Works when it works
-Inexpensive

Cons: Twice I've had failures in these cards which required a lengthy and very inconvenient RMA process with Corsair. 4 months after the inital purchase (bought them brand new in January of 2013), a stick failed. Plenty of BSOD's and errors in memtest. Several weeks later I had a replacement.
Last year, about a year after, I started having memory issues again. I was able to get around them but now they're causing constant crashing in games like GTA V, and have to go through the RMA process again.

Other Thoughts: Spend the extra money, get better RAM. G.SKILL and Kingston last far longer without issue.

4 out of 5 eggsStill working

Pros: I bought these back in 2011, it's now 2015 and they still work, used them at 1333mhz for 8-16hrs a day everyday, many hours of gaming with them including playing through skyrim, the witcher 2, and many other PC games, I would say over 500hrs of gaming since 2011 running these same RAM sticks. Those heat spreaders do make a difference in the long run I guess, best of off corsair seems to be compatible with a lot of motherboards and is on the Qualified Vendors list of the two ASUS boards I have. (check your board manufacturer's site for memory compatibility before you purchase).

Best of all they don't look ridiculous with dragons and things on them, you can take these out in front of your gf/wife and not have to be embarrassed.

Cons: They could be cheaper, you can find faster RAM for under $10/GB

Other Thoughts: Solid product, might buy another if prices come down a bit

5 out of 5 eggsHeavy Duty

Pros: Heavy duty heatsink; average price for ther higher quality product; installation easy as expected.

Cons: none, yet

Other Thoughts: I almost bought the lower priced memory but decided for the extra ~$25 cost it would be better assurance of long life and no early failure. Small price to pay in my opinion.
