4 out of 5 eggsIt's RAM

Pros: Dual Channel

It works

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: Kind of bummed I had to pay $25 to upgrade RAM in a PC I bought from my employer's IT auction for $40.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's RAM, and it works.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Made a customer's pentium 4 dinosaur slightly more bearable to use (it had 256mb of ram previously...)

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work in optiplex 745

Pros: Did not work, there are no pros.

Cons: This did not work in an optiplex 745, it just beeps. I am however able to use two other major brands of ddr2 667 of the same size configuration. Same latency as well. There must be something regarding the density of the sticks.

3 out of 5 eggs8 chips total, high density

Pros: Good price

Cons: not 16 chips like photos show

Other Thoughts: Pictures show there is chips on both sides for 16 chips total (low density which would work in older computers that cannot read high density) but there is only 8 chips total, none on the back.

5 out of 5 eggsStable

Pros: 4-3-4-10 @ 706, They were CHEAP

Cons: Expensive now,

Other Thoughts: Mushkin says they are good to 2.0V but the Foxconn software shows them at 1.8V no matter what I set it to. Don't know if this is from the RAM or BIOS(or the WInbond chip reporting incorrect voltage)

5 out of 5 eggsStable, Solid

Pros: First Build, Running in a Gigabyte DS-3. Bios recognized at 667 immediately! No errors on Memtest for 12 hours

Cons: Price jumped 50 bucks since I bought this (two weeks ago)

Other Thoughts: I had to set the voltage in the bios manually to 1.9 (setting is +.1) also set timings 5-5-5-15 manually, Overclocked a bit to 706 Mhz.

5 out of 5 eggsIt was the best deal and no errors

Pros: When I bought it, this was among the very cheapest. It doesn't report errors in memtest86 after several hours. I set the timings manually. Works with ASRock 775-Dual VSTA.

Very little difference vs. faster other brand RAM in real-world gaming. See below.

5-5-5-15 vs. 3-3-3-8
Doom 3 64.4 FPS 66.3 FPS
Farcry 66.4 FPS 66.8 FPS

Cons: None. If it's cheap I'd recommend it. Keep the timings at 5-5-5.
