5 out of 5 eggsAwesome, esp for the price!

Pros: Works great! No issues and with a motherboard that I wouldn't call "high-end" ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Zero issues.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Kicked up my Gateway GM5474 from factory 2GB. Gateway doesn't even offer factory DDR PC5300 upgrade. In concert with AMD 3.0 X 2, this machine is a rocket for my ocasional digital video work with the new RAM, and the multi-tasking potential has doubled along with the RAM upgrade. NewEgg rocks! What a deal. Keep those e-mail deals coming! If you're not signed up, do so IMMEDIATELY.

Cons: Vista will not show a full 4 GB, only 3.5 GB. But Crucial insists it's in there. After a small panic attack I read the accompaning read me stuff.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: Great RAM for an awesome price. I picked up this kit with a substantial rebate from Crucial. RAM works great. Got my rebate within 2 weeks of submission. Product was packaged very well. I am happy with this purchase.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Crucial rocks. I bought this RAM from Newegg (they also rock) but would like to mention how great the crucial website is and how helpful Crucial's Memory Advisor Tool is.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing RAM

Pros: Crucial Ballstix are cherry-picked D9 Microns and are only sold at this price so Crucial qualifies as a charity :] I believe the DDR2-667's will overclock better than the DDR2-800's due to how they are chosen (yes, you read that right)/made at the factory.

Cons: They didn't let me turn in my rebate a month late when I called them, which almost cost them an Egg :P

Other Thoughts: Don't go over DDR2-1000 when overclocking, even though they can make it on 2.2v if they die then you would have to wait for Crucial to replace them.

3 out of 5 eggsBetter have a good Motherboard!

Pros: Very fast timings, excellent warranty and I even got it when the rebate was still on. Great price with the rebate!

Cons: I own a somewhat low-end system that doesn't allow for much adjustment to the memory voltage. My board is the ASRock 4CoreDual SATA2. My machine craches when I run it in "high" memory voltage mode and from what I can tell about this board that probably means about 2.1v vDIMM (that's both XP and Vista as I dual-boot). This memory is supposed to have 2.2v. Wish I saw that when I first bought it. At the "medium" setting (probably about 1.9v) I can't get 4-4-4-12 timing out of this stuff unless I have some serious wind moving through my system (which I do now that I've purhcased a more modern case).

Other Thoughts: If you have a nice expensive motherboard with other very expensive components that support all the latest standards then you will be able to take advantage of this memory. But then, that being the case.........why wouldn't you just go buy DDR2 800 or DDR2 1066 instead? Somebody needs to get these guys (Crucial) to put out some lower volt memory that has tight timing specs like this.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Fast

Pros: Running at ddr1066 5-5-5-15 @2.15v unlinked on my evga 680i with my e6550 running at 3.35ghz. very good price/performance. Will need active cooling if you plan on going above 2.0v for any extended period of time. mine would burn me before my $7 ram cooler was added. now stay nice an cool. nice an stable.

Cons: I ordered 2 kits (4 sticks) and out of 4 sticks, only 3 of them worked after about 3 days. not a huge deal because i got 4, but be careful i am sure they died while waiting for my TT ram cooler. I also did have a P5K that had voltage issues, so i guess it could have taken the ram out. Needs active cooling.

Other Thoughts: Heatspreaders could be made a little higher quality. advised timings could be printed somewhere for noobs!! I suppose this stuff is worth the few minor setbacks, once you see it breaking 1000mhz without breaking a sweat.

5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: Works great, both sticks came in perfect condition and the price was pretty sweet too

Cons: None, besides wishing my board could handle 4 of these.

Other Thoughts: Going from 1G of stock generic RAM to this set actually boosted my FPS in my games by 10-15 FPS. And the way everything boots up and loads is phenominally better. Definitely take advantage of newegg's RAM compatability feature, will save you time and money from ordering wrong parts.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat stuff

Pros: CHEAP !!! fast, reliable, I now have 4 gbs installed with these 2 and Vista runs alot better.
for the price you can't beat it

Cons: there yellow ?!?!

Other Thoughts: I'm not going to list what I have in my machine because it doesn't matter only kids would care what every one thinks.
I can tell you that these are some of the better (and cheapest) chips I've used and will continue using this kind from now till I find better. P.s. besides from what I've seen listed my machines would destroy 95% of whats listed.
