will this drive work in a Mac?

I have two of these in a 15" MacBook Pro w/o retina and another two in a Mac Mini. Both are RAID1. Works great --be careful during install. There are a lot of asinine screws prone to strip in those things --Apple makes it that way to deter you.

This says it is a Data Center drive. Will it work in a typical notebook PC?

How much of the total writes (or other metrics affecting Samsung warrantee) have been used?

The copy says zero hours, with a 30 day warranty on the device. I will point out, however, that you get what you pay for, and the 4K random write iops are the lowest numbers I've seen for an SSD at 11,500. For comparison, Samsung's 'normal' retail line varies from around 50,000 to over 95,000 iops on 4KB random writes. The 4KB random reads at 70,000 iops is fine. Writing to this drive will be very sloooooooow for an SSD.
