5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal/QUICK SHIPPING!

Pros: Pros:
1- Competitive price
2- Low Latency of 7
3- Crucial quality as always
4- FAST FREE DHL/USPS shipping

Cons: Cons:
NONE

Other Thoughts: I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (32 bit) already had a Crucial DDR3 1066 2 gig stick and decided to add a 1 gig to the remaining ram slot on my MSI AM3+ board. It arrived 3 business days (free shipping) after I placed my order and was decently packaged. It was plug n play w/o any issues. My motherboard and OS reconized it upon bootup. FYI 32 bit Ubuntu 12.04 can only use up to 3 gigs of ram, so this 1 gig module was exactly what I was looking for. My pc specs:

AMD FX-4100 Quad core AM3+ CPU
Stock CPU fan/heatsink
MSI AM3+ motherboard
3 gig DDR3 1066 Crucial RAM (1- two gig & 1- one gig module)
EVGA GT 430 DDR3 128 bit 1 gig graphics card
SATA Western Digital HD 320 GB
SATA Sony DVD-ROM
92mm case fan
Antec exhaust blower/Zalman fan speed controller
COOLMAX ZX-500 watt psu w/ +12V rail of 34A
32" LCD tv as monitor connected via HDMI cable
Logitech K400 wireless keyboard w/built in mouse
OS: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (32 bit)

My graphics card is a little weak and after this good experience my soon to be upgraded card will come from newegg. After some not so "prime" recent results looks like I will rating in eggs and not in stars now! Thanks Newegg for the quick shipping & decent price! ^5

5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: Gave new life to my legacy system. I bought one stick and it made such an improvement that I've bought another, you can't go wrong for DDR3 at such a low price. Memory prices these days are so much better, just a couple of years ago this stick would have went for 5x as much. Was able to overclock a little with no trouble, it could definitely be pushed further but I'm limited by my FSB. (See Other thoughts)

Cons: Three letters, D-H-L. I hate them. The memory was coming from the adjacent state and UPS would have had it here in 1-2 days, it took DHL 6, it's only 400 miles!!

It doesn't blend?

No real cons.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these in an old 775 mobo paired with a E4500 OC'd to 3.0Ghz. The stock FSB for this processor is 800mhz so it can't take full advantage of the memory unless I push the CPU higher, luckily it is a very overclockable chip and I have it at 1093, with a perfect CPU to RAM ratio of 1:2 and timings at 7-7-7-20. Like I said the memory still has a lot of potential left, but this CPU is holding it back. But this configuration is rock solid and completely stable, good job Crucial. I would buy more, but this mobo only has two slots.

5 out of 5 eggsCost effective

Pros: Low cost and relatively fast. Very good performance per dollar.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: These are not listed on the Biostar site but work great in the A880GZ. I expect they should work in just about anything needing DDR3 of this type. At less than $9 per stick it is hard to go wrong with these.

5 out of 5 eggsWoah

Pros: Its fast. Runs cool. Doesn't need the extra room for a heat spreader, not that its a problem in anything except a mini case or other kinds of HTPC cases.

Cons: The package was hard to open lol.

Other Thoughts: Its green and black.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as it should

Pros: Installed and just worked

Cons: It is only 1GB.

Other Thoughts: Got 2 of these to work with windows 7 x64 Ultimate. The memory worked fine. Just 2GB for W7x64 is not enough. So swapped out with 4GB modules (now running 8GB).
would suggest to go with higher memory sticks to fill up your motherboard. More memory is one of the best investments you can make in the performance of your system (up to about 8GB).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Build quality is superb!! I had these sitting around in various locations (even being stepped on because it was laying on the CARPET with no protection!!) and they still worked flawlessly when I finally put them in my HTPC build. The one stick was even bent a little and I bent it back and it still worked! Bought 4 of these... could only find 2 when I installed, definitely will try to find the other 2 now!

Cons: None!! If they can withstand the amount of abuse I put them through like that... this is good ram

Other Thoughts: They just work!! Will definitely buy Crucial RAM again for non-gaming purposes. VERY cheap too!
