Crucial 240-pin DIMMs are used in DDR3 memory for desktop computers. DDR3 is the latest generation of memory with an improved architecture that allows it to transmit data more quickly.

A dual inline memory module (DIMM) consists of a number of memory components (usually black) that are attached to a printed circuit board (usually green). The gold pins on the bottom of the DIMM provide a connection between the module and a socket on a larger printed circuit board. The pins on the front and back of a DIMM are not connected to each other.

5 out of 5 eggsCrucial 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit

Pros: Worked like a charm, E2220, Gigabyte G41MT-S2P motherboard. I wanted to check old CPU tech with new DDR3 RAM (800 FSB, 775 Skt)

Cons: only con, which is really not a con, is I wish they were bigger (2 or 4 GB's each)

Other Thoughts: I know better, but I'm cheap, and I should have got more RAM

5 out of 5 eggsMore memory

Pros: I got this to upgrade the original 2gb in my system after i started running win 7 64. I strongly suggest that you run 4gb as minimum fore win 7 64 and in 32 bit run 3gb

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsNearly 2 Years Later.

Pros: Reliable, fast, small enough to fit in most, if not all motherboards.
I bought this set of RAM on 10/9/2010 & it has been running ever since.
I use my computer roughly 6-13 hours every day & generally spend most of the time playing graphically intensive games or opening a boatload of tabs in my browser (anywhere from 30-100+ tabs, curse you TvTropes, youtube, & webcomics!~) & this set of RAM has managed to keep up without any issues at all.

Cons: Not helping me get away from addictive time consuming activities.
Also doesn't make waffles.

Other Thoughts: A bit pricy though. But reliable.
