Great RAM!
- Pros: Stable!
Low latency. Price
- Cons: I had to set the timings & voltage manually in BIOS... not much of a con really, put some people may not think to do this, and cheat themselves out of great performance.
- Other Thoughts: This RAM has worked flawlessly @ 1.8V and 6-6-6-20 timings, as per the specifications. I only wish I could find the sub timings somewhere on Crucial's website.
Great
- Pros: Great ram! for under 70 bucks, this 4gb kit is awesome.
I am running at 1333mhz and 6-6-6-20 timings, just like it said, running very stable.
- Cons: It's only 1333 mhz, which is still really fast, just 1600mhz would be preffered.
- Other Thoughts: for 70 bucks this kit is really great
Perfect
- Pros: RAM works, all 4 sticks passed testing, don't have any issues running Windows 7 or Ubuntu 64 with these. Price is comparable to DDR2 sticks, and latency is pretty low on these.
They're Crucial!
- Cons: CAS & voltage settings don't default to the correct values with Gigabyte MA790XT board even after latest BIOS update.
- Other Thoughts: Running 8GB (4 of these sticks) in my new AM3 rig. I was able to get the right timings and voltage by using Gigabyte's M.I.T (Motherboard Intellegent Tweaker). I knew the settings before building the system, so I knew I had to manually set the voltage to 1.8V and the timings to 6-6-6-20. That's not a problem, but be aware that your board may also need to be set manually to achieve these specs.
