5 out of 5 eggsHAPPY HAPPY!

Pros: They rock! They even overclock!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's memory, it works. Light speed indicates how hard its working...what else could u ask for? Be sure you set these to 1.65 volts in your bios.

5 out of 5 eggsFunky lights show

Pros: Solid components.
Nice LED lights - green/red
FAST!

Cons: I didn't buy 8GB...?

Other Thoughts: Figured I could not go wrong with Crucial. Was about to go with Corsair yet again, but these caught my eye. Good bang for buck.
Can't go wrong with these. Mobo detected proper CAS settings right off the bat.

5 out of 5 eggsflawless memory

Pros: Works perfectly as RAM.

I like the lights. If you don't like the light show, then at the very least, they take one variable out of troubleshooting a computer that won't start. (Blue screens could still be caused by faulty RAM that's not totally dead. Tracers make some troubleshooting simpler, not idiot-proof!).

If you're allergic to LEDs, or your computer is in your bedroom, or some curmudgeon convinced you they're not "tasteful," fine, then get Crucial Ballistix not-Tracer, but absolutely get Crucial, and in my opinion, always get Ballistix for the heat spreaders even if you don't want the LEDs on Tracers. Even though it's not aluminum and doesn't seem to be copper either, it's metal and all metals conduct heat better than any semiconductor does, so they help. Duh.

Heat spreaders are like condoms; it's better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them. :-)

Cons: No.

Other Thoughts: Many, but this isn't the proper forum for 'em. :-)

5 out of 5 eggsAh, Christmas lights!

Pros: Rock solid. Reliable, pretty!

Cons: They use about 10 Watts of Con Ed Juice per stick.

Other Thoughts: If you like to see your computer "thinking," these are for you!

5 out of 5 eggsChristmas Lights Year Round

Pros: Top shelf quality, fairly cool running, seriously blazing fast & high capacity ram. After setting up the memory in the bios this ram runs perfectly stable @1616 - 8 8 8 24 at 1.65 volts. DRAM Freq 808 Mhz. Using it on the new Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5. Zero errors running prime 95 for 3 hours. This is the good stuff.

Cons: Pricey!

Other Thoughts: Wow the LED's are so bright and pretty!
