2 out of 5 eggsNot as pictured, now high density/incompatible

Pros: Cheap, fits.

Cons: The memory modules I received are not what is pictured. The ones received only have 4 chips per side and are high density, which causes immediate errors after POST going into Windows as well as Memtest 4.20.

Other Thoughts: Modules would probably work on newer laptops, but I was upgraded a batch of HP 8440p, and even with the newest BIOS these chips are not compatible.

5 out of 5 eggsNo issues here...

Pros: Used ~ 7mos, does what its supposed to do.

Assembled in USA according to the label- which is rare especially for PC components...

Also the modules I have use Micron chips so that's also a plus.

Cons: None yet...

Other Thoughts: I'll take USA-made products over others any day

1 out of 5 eggsPoor quality, doesn't last

Pros: cheap, worked well (when it actually worked)

Cons: 6 months later and the memory is dead. I've never had RAM fail on me after such a short amount of time, so I'm pretty irritated about it.

Other Thoughts: Don't be cheap, buy a good brand like Kingston.

2 out of 5 eggsInconsistent quality, poor customer support

Pros: Cost

Cons: Inconsistent quality. 1 of the 8 I originally purchased failed memtest out of the box, 2 more have failed after a few months. 1st one I RMAed back to NewEgg, these next 2 I've been trying to RMA to the manufacturer, but have received no response to my fax or email RMA request.

Other Thoughts: Will spend a few more bucks in the future and stick with name brands

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: The memory is FAST!!!! I bought a laptop from HP for my Aunt and this new memory that I installed was way faster than the 2 gig stick that was already in it. I loved the speed out of it. I think it speed up the laptop. But I am not sure.

Cons: The laptop is my CON!!!!!! Stupid HP!!!! I mean really dude, what the heck!!! I buy a 4 gig stick of memory and then you only recognize like 1 gig of it!!! Really? I know it only had a 32bit version of Win7 but I mean it should have shown up as 3.75 gigs usable not a sorry 2.5 or so gigs usable. Oh well I guess Microsoft is really trying to push us to use 64 bits OS's now.

Other Thoughts: It was an HP ProBook 4525s (XT950UT#ABA) NoteBook AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P340(2.20GHz) 15.6" 2GB Memory DDR3 1066 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250.

The specs on it aren't all that impressive, BUT for only 420 bucks it was better than a freaking netbook which is what my Aunt wanted to buy. So I mean it gets the job done and is more powerful than a netbook.

5 out of 5 eggsbarebones memory

Pros: My first laptop was BF-discounted because Toshiba stripped it of any meaningful memory! One of these + 2 MB original RAM = 6 MB of working RAM for this poor-boy to love!

Cons: Wish I could afford 2x for dual channel performance! Not-an-issue for me now!

Other Thoughts: This is cheaper than the DDR ram for my 2003 HP desktop!

5 out of 5 eggsSo Far, So Great

Pros: Price is awesome. Just over a bill for 8 gigs of DDR3. I can't complain. The two free thumbdrives were a nice touch, though I don't use thumbdrives all that often.

Cons: Off-brand, though so far that doesn't seem to be a problem.

Other Thoughts: Got my 2x 4 gig sticks in the mail today and excitedly set about installint them. Booted up no problem and have been surfing, ripping, and watching videos all afternoon. Not a huge difference between my previous 4 gigs and the the new 8, but haven't been Skyping yet, so we'll see. I upgraded my new Acer from it's stock Kingston 2x2 gig PC3-10600 to the All Components brand, and I can't complain so far.

4 out of 5 eggsgood choice

Pros: - Assembled in US
- Compatible with dell latitude e6410
- Passed in all dell built-in tests
- Increased WEI from 5.5 to 6.8 (originally had installed 3GB only. And now 6GB)

Cons: -The software CPUZ can't get the correct manufacturer information by SPD reading, as well as production week/year and serial number (it feels like a generic memory)
-The software Everest Ultimate reports that this memory module does not support auto self refresh, even though the manufacturer says it does.
-Actually the manufacturer is also shipping a revised version of this module - Rev 5, and the module I got is Rev 3. (Found no information regarding the differences between them though)
However it is not a big deal as far the memory keep doing a good job.
- The model # informed by Newegg does not match with the one reported by the manufacturer, which is AVH6451U64F9333G3-AP

Other Thoughts: Got the product in one day (even paying for the cheapest UPS 3-day). Thanks Newegg!
The memory seems rock solid. But again, since some popular software cant get an accurate SPD readings, the feeling is that the memory is generic. Perhaps the revised module does not have this issue.
So far I am satisfied as long the memory works fine.

4 out of 5 eggsIncreasing to 8Gb RAM in my HP DM4

Pros: This RAM was rated at the same speed as the 4Gb RAM I pulled from my HP DM4 laptop (with i5 430M 2.27Ghz CPU).

RAM usage has dropped from an avg of 49% to 22% with the upgrade.

WEI increased from 5.9 to 6.6!

The rest of my WEI also increased (but I added an Intel G2 80Gb SSD at the same time):

CPU is the same at 6.6
Graphics is onboard Intel GPU but went from 4.4 to 4.6
Gaming Graphics is the same at 5.3
Primary HDD when from 5.9 to 7.5

** The OEM HDD was a Toshiba 500Gb 7200 Rpm HDD

Price was good for 8Gb of DDR3 10600 RAM compared to what it was a few weeks ago = ~$143 shipped to my US Navy address

Cons: None yet with the product RAM, will update the review if any problems arise!

New Egg advertises free shipping all over their site but shipping to US military troop bases isn't free since we use FPO/APO box addresses inside or outside of the USA.

The redeeming factor is that New Egg prices are usually still better unless you get into shipping something heavier - USPS shipping has really gotten expensive in the past couple years!

Other Thoughts: It also came with a Pqi 4Gb aluminum USB drive per each 4Gb stick of RAM ordered and the flash drives look very nice but I haven't used them yet
