Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: - Heatsinks are poorly secured or wrongly installed. Of the two, one had the heatsinks fall off immediately, the other had one side applied so low that it wouldn't seat in the slot properly.
- Despite being advertised as 1600, my motherboard detected these as 1333. They seem to run fine at 1600, but I haven't verified the timings at that speed.

Other Thoughts: I had purchased this set of memory because it was the cheapest available at the time. I would not likely do so again.

Pros: Seems to work fine to this point: Memtest86+ 10 passes OK.

Cons: People are right here: These heatsink blades simply fall off from their ineffective adhesive strips--these blades all-too easily could short out something onboard. Wintec should use clips and hinges (as on Evercool's heatsinks) in order to keep the blades intact. Otherwise, the heatsinks seem to be heavy and pretty good--what a waste!

Other Thoughts: For now, I've decided to remove the blades and to bare the mem. Have ordered aftermarket Evercool heatsinks.

Installed Rana triple-core proc today--board powers on and beeps twice with no video, no post--I wonder if this mem is the culprit. (Sargas proc still works--now reinstalled.)

I shall try the proc with a different new, board (on order), power supply, and other peripherals--along with the Kingston XMS 1600 sticks (2X2GB) which the Wintec modules replaced on the Gigabyte board. I'll relate back if this Wintec mem apparently is at fault, given this better proc....

Pros: Runs cool with the massive heat sinks even OCed. All spreaders tight and working. Great price and great delivery speed from NewEgg, as usual.

Cons: Bought 8 GB set from NewEgg, came up next day as 'Discontinued'. Had to buy second set from A****n for a greatly inflated price.

Pros: Inexpensive, Works, looks pretty cool

Cons: The heat-sink fell of the memory the day I got it. It seems to be held in place with cheap glue.

Other Thoughts: It's alright for the price but watch the heatsinks.

Pros: Heatsinks excellent, looks great, works perfectly at 1333 9 9 9 24

Cons: Although my motherboard and cpu are able this memory won't clock at 1600 without increased timings (11's and 12's). OS detects it as 10666, not 12800.

Other Thoughts: One of the heatsinks was solid and one was a bit wonky; it was easy to fix so no big deal.

Pros: Memory works as designed, clocks properly and ran memtest without an issue at 1600 and 1.5v. Price was right, too

Cons: The heat spreaders are not connected well. Both literally fell off after a couple of days of use. The tape used to attach them is not heavy duty enough. Also, they are 2-piece heat spreaders, which further reduces their structural integrity

Other Thoughts: I hope that these will be OK without heat spreaders. Since they are so loosely attached and would not bind properly to the RAM chips, I removed them completely. I figure at 1.5v in a well-ventilated case it is not an issue.

Pros: This ram must be using higher tier parts than what labeled.
These chips overclock without hesitation.
Currently running at 1927 mhz way above the printed 1600.

Cons: Heatsink are kinda tall but look nice.

Other Thoughts: Chances of me buying this particular ram were 1 in 100. This was a great find glad i got them.

Pros: Didn't find any!

Cons: The heatsink came off right out of the box! I have another kit of this memory that show up as 1600mhz! this kit refused to show up at anything but 1333mhz! With or without the other kit in my computer!

Other Thoughts: Time to get a different brand!

Pros: Great ram, looks great in my mobo

Cons: Box smelt weird... not a con just had to write something here. Great RAM!!

Pros: Works at 1333 as 9-9-9

Cons: Memory won't work at 1600 settings; gets autodetected as 9-11-11, stability issues. Metal fins came off pretty much straight out of the package

Other Thoughts: Possibly quality control issues, given the other good reviews. Super-disappointed.
