Even Faster than my WD VelociRaptor
- Pros: Even Faster than my WD VelociRaptor
- Cons: TRIM unstable with Win 7 with FW:02HA
- Other Thoughts: Apple still do not support TRIM yet, but after the Win 7 TRIM problem, maybe Apple is right to hold back
Not sure if it's worth all the hype
- Pros: Faster than my WD Scorpio Black 320GB.
- Cons: Price/GB. Price gouging.
- Other Thoughts: Yes it's faster than my old HD, but I don't think it's worth the price, especially for the jacked up price. I picked up 2 at normal retail price, but I still can't justify the cost. Time to try to sell the 1 that's not being used. I have it installed in a VAIO SZ770 with Windows 7.
Great, but TRIM firmware still a problem
- Pros: Intel SSD's are simply amazing. They can transform your user experience even on older computers.
- Cons: 1) Size
2) Price
3) Inte'ls continued firmware problems. They have yet to re-release an updated firmware that supports TRIM.
