5 out of 5 eggsHighly Satisfied

Pros: Used these to supercharge some old dell Optiplex 620s. I had a large base of the 620's installed, and I needed to improve performance. These did the trick. The old XP machines ran better than ever. (I know XP is retired now)

I also used one to clone a fresh install to 25 Macbook Airs. Using disk utility from the "command-R" console and having the dmg on one of these in a USB3 drive dock, I restored a 15 Gig dmg in under 3 minutes. SSD to SSD was amazingly fast.

Cons: I had a hiccup with one where the pc wouldn't boot, I t resolved itself. Might have been the PC or the drive.

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive SSD solution (for small data volume needs)

Pros: -inexpensive SSD
-

Cons: -if you don't need SATA, consider SD instead

Other Thoughts: ..for those without massive data storage needs.
-Good for Linux users, as a an OS boot drive in a multi-drive system, or for backup/portability for users that aren't overflowing with data files.
-Instantly recognized by two separate Windows 7 machines. In my desktop, USB 3 transfer speeds to/from an external enclosure were around 80 MB/sec.
-Fairly pricey (you can get the same capacity in an SD card for about half the price).

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Boot Drive

Pros: I got this as a dedicated Win7 boot drive for my desktop PC.
Configured BIOS as AHCI and installed Win7-HP-SP1 then proceeded to run updates and install all my core programs.
Coming from a now 6y/o WD SATA2 320GB Blue drive (now being used as a backup drive) to this, I can feel and see the snappiness to system loading and desktop usability timing.
64GB is more than enough for Windows and all 'core' programs enthusiast gamers and workstation users would need, just be sure to optimize Win7 before getting those core programs.

Cons: After initial install of Win7 and selective updates, I noticed the drive was nearly at full capacity. So I then proceeded along the most highly recommended SSD optimizations list I've always used as a system builder (I just tend to get larger SSDs for client systems), before installing core programs. Cleaned up nicely and regained about half it's capacity before installing the rest.

Other Thoughts: CrystalDiskMark 3-pass 500MB (MB/s):
382.2 & 139.1 Sequential Read & Write.
186.3 & 103.4 512K Random Read & Write.
32.28 & 83.56 4K Random Read & Write.
33.76 & 88.61 4K-32QD Random Read & Write.
Use ninite.com for quickly getting your core programs and bypassing the hassle of going to each website manually.

5 out of 5 eggsSufficient for a datacenter

Pros: SATA III speeds
Really quite decent IOps
Price is relatively decent for the comparable products of similar size and performance. But personally not really a fan of more than $1/GB.

Cons: 2.5", I know most SSD's nowadays are 2.5", but let me tell you hotswap bays are a royal pain to get decent 2.5 to 3.5" adapters that perfectly align to the SATA and power connector inside the bay. But Icy Dock helped me there.

Took a gamble buying drives with no reviews, much less for datacenter use, but so far they're running like champs. Worst case one fails and I rebootstrap, with network storage no biggie.

Other Thoughts: Bought four of them to put in four PowerEdge C5100 nodes with ESXi 5.1 as the both the hypervisor and guest boot drives, with a network SAN for the mass storage. I keep logging to a minimum (and offload to a syslog server) and didn't add paging partitions to keep unnecessary writes to a minimum.
