I tried installing both and got blue screens and programs hung. Installed just one, same thing. Tried the other, still the same thing. Removed them and put back in OEM modules, and things went back to normal. Sent PNY a support message a week ago and haven't gotten a response. Cons: The stick that did work comes up as a PC2 6400 at www crucial com. The computer calls for PC2 5300. I don't know if its worth the time and effort to send the bad module back. This is my first experience with PNY, and I'm not impressed. Other Thoughts: This does happen often with Memory, but it still sucks. Did you find this review helpful? Worked right out of the package. No problems with installation. I was upgrading an aging Dell system that was lagging noticeably after installing Ubuntu 10.10. When I had Windows XP installed, I noticed the same performance issues. I went from 2x256MB (512MB) to 1.5GB total and it made a world of difference. Cons: None so far. Other Thoughts: I will probably be purchasing additional sticks to fill out the system to maximum memory since this module is a great value for the brand, size and performance.
