Other Thoughts: Manufacturers and Newegg need to put full timing on their products. Not all memory products have these specs...

Pros: works as it should. shut down, insert memory, boot.. what's not to like?

Other Thoughts: bought about one month ago so i can't comment on the life span, but out of the box this memory did exactly what i wanted. nothing to complain about.

Pros: Purchased this to speed up Fedora 17 on my home server,immediately showed up in BIOS, Fedora seems to like it, so it's a win-win for me.

Cons: It's old technology, not really a con though.

Pros: computer has a whole new attitude - best money I've spent in a long time. upgraded from 512 single to 1gX2. shipping was great, and computer recognized the memory instantly.. (shows 1.99g total.. ?)

Cons: sticks look kinda flimsy, but stand up quite well to fat, clumsy fingers.. - oh, and the biggest con, I actually bought an upgrade for a vista computer.

Pros: Just installed PNY PC2-5300 2 GB into an IBM ThinkCentre M52 type 8215 that I got free from work. Instant upgrade! Replaced the 512mb and powered up and recognized without an issue. Great upgrade! Web surfing is effortless again

Cons: none so far, will update if anything goes wrong down the road

Pros: I purchased two of these 2gb kits to replace the 1gb of ram I had in my desktop before this. Now, with four times my previous amount of RAM, my computer can multi-task with ease. I purchased a new GPU at the same time as these memory kits, and the two of these together allow me to run games at the maximum resolution my primary monitor will display on fairly high settings while using firefox and other applications on my secondary monitor. This was literally impossible before. ALT + TAB'ing from a game to another application used to be a painful 30 second process, but thanks to the large increase in RAM, it is nearly instantaneous.

Cons: None so far; wish the price would've been slightly lower.

Pros: bought these to double (i know sad right) the ram in the dell i got for free from a friend, it did the trick, very fast reliable ram for what it is. cheap, old tech, but it works. i love PNY ram, the difference was amazing. great ram, great buy if you need ddr2

Pros: Does what it says. Works.

Cons: Current pictures show this as having chips on both sides of the boards. The product I received only had chips on one side of the board. This can be an issue for some motherboards. Luckily mine was not one of them. Bought this for an older Dell Precision 370 workstation.

Other Thoughts: Came with a voucher for a free movie download from PNY. Says it expired on 2/28/12, but it still worked for me.
