5 out of 5 eggsSuper fast

Pros: This is just a super fast card. I also have the 32 GB card which is just as great. Put in a USB 3.0 reader and it downloads pics faster than I have ever seen.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsterrible workmanship

Pros: Fast cards, great capacity. Recorded a 90m concert in one go with these. One of the cameras at 60Mbps, another at 49 and one at 17. All worked well.

Cons: Two out of four have fallen completely apart, rendering them useless. I cannot trust them any more and I cannot trust the others, knowing that they will most certainly fall completely apart at some point as well. Thus, I have $160 worth of useless cards. I am a little shocked that Newegg sold these in the first place.

Other Thoughts: I should have spent a little more to get a reliable brand.

2 out of 5 eggsMy iMac won't read this card

Pros: This cheap SD card works fine on my MacBook and the Canon DSLR I use it in (mostly shooting video).

Cons: My iMac (2012 model, all software up-to-date) won't recognize this card. It's had no problems with any other SD card. Formatting the card hasn't helped. I emailed Polaroid customer service and got no response. I'm upgrading to a better card from a different brand.

5 out of 5 eggsSpecification a bit misleading but exceed expectation!!!

Pros: Using CrystalDiskMark, my laptop memory slot was able to achieve read speed ~89MB/s and write speed ~50MB/s SEQ!!!!
~74MB/s read & ~31MB/s 512k
Also tested transferring a file. 650MB took about 13 seconds.

Cons: Spec says: Read Speed up to 50 MB/s Write Speed up to 35 MB/s but package states Up to 35MB/s sequential read and write. BUT, both information is wrong as I was able to achieve ~90MB/s read/ ~50MB/s write

Other Thoughts: This card exceeds specifications.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat performance and got it for a great price

Pros: Got this for under $20 and it performs great. I should have purchased a couple more for the price as 64gb SD cards are still above the price I paid

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsLet's See How Much Of A Shell Shocker

Pros: Capacity, specs, decent reviews

Cons: Newegg had better beat $34.99 (regular price from a few competitors) by a good margin or this probably shouldn't be considered a Cyber Monday Shell Shocker.

Other Thoughts: If price is too good to pass up, I'll try one, otherwise OK living with my 32 gig, class 10, SDHC cards

5 out of 5 eggsexFat & XP=MS Update FIX

Pros: I can take pictures about twice as fast with this card vs the 8GB SDHC 4 memory card that came with my camera.
I'll probably be able to fit a week's vacation onto this card with room to spare if I don't use the video feature much.

Cons: Nothing tells you that you will probably have to download MS Update KB955704 in order for you to be able to view the pictures with XP & probably Windows Media Server 2003. This patch adds exFat as a usable FAT system for XP.
The lack of this simple bit of info could make a XP user think the card was bad. At best you may waste a lot of time looking for the solution.

Other Thoughts: How hard would it be to put something like XP may need MS Update KB955704 to use card.
I could view the pictures with the card in the camera, using the camera, but they could not be viewed with the camera connected to an XP computer or using a card reader until I found & installed the update.

Pros: 1) Fast.
2) Reliable & compatible.
3) A great value.

Cons: Truly none.

Other Thoughts: I've taken pictures and video with this card and not had any issues as it is a great performer.

1 out of 5 eggsCard failed

Pros: Fairly cheap for its size

Cons: The card started failing and requiring it to be reformatted after every use, deleting all the data stored on it. Worst of all it worked so well for a few months, so when it finally started failing it was use a loss of the whole card after it had been filled.
