Pros: When I first install this i didn't think it would make a big differents. I have a 1200 series dell celeron proccesor 2.4g.. I love playing games online specially coduo it took away almost all the lagg and it went from 90fps to 110fps. Loads maps faster and exits the game with no problem at all.
Cons: i miss fed-ex free shipping much faster then ups and usps. but worth the wait. I also only have 1 gig need another one. Can't wait
Other Thoughts: If you have 512mb ram you missing out on allot. It doesn't only makes your computer faster but it also transfer files at a higher speed rate. Shutting the computer down it's faster. Restart alittle faster. Once your computer it's on IT'S ON! Don't use your old dram with this one. Doesn't help and it's not recommended. Always use the same dram type.

Pros: Purchased two sticks to give an Asus A7N8X a little more life. Ran Memtest86 overnight, about 7 hours - no errors. Windows XP Pro runs fine - no problems.
Cons: None. Price? DDR is more costly then DDR2...Supply and demand, I suppose..
Other Thoughts: System is a old AMD Athlon XP-3000, OC'ed to 2.3Mhz. RAM is running at 219Mhz, dual channel. Stable
If you want to extend the life of a old system the requires DDR memory, this is it.

Pros: Bought 3 of these for my machine. Now I have 3 gig of memory, working great!
Cons: Nobody wants my old 256m dimms. :(
