5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: 1.35v and CL9. Got two for 16gb total. Much better than the 2gb samsung bottleneck my laptop came with. Plug and play with Dell Precision M4700. (WEI from 5.6 to 7.9 if you care about that.)

Cons: |

Other Thoughts: Nice packaging.

5 out of 5 eggsBest on the market, I'd wager

Pros: I have the same budget AMD A6-4400M (Trinity) Samsung Series 3 laptop that reviewer Alex has and I also saw a solid jump in graphics performance.
Windows 8 Experience Index for Desktop and Gaming Graphics both went up to 6.6 after replacing the OEM 2x 2GB Samsung modules (an improvement from around 5.6 if I remember correctly,) and Memory operations per second went up to 7.3.

Cons: Wow, it's expensive, but I still don't see anything better than Cas Latency 9 for DDR3 1600, even if I'm looking at single modules.

Other Thoughts: With a higher end platform such as Intel Core series you may get better performance marks as some other reviewers reported.

If you want to game on a cheap Trinity platform laptop this is the priority upgrade to get, and it will make it heaps better. Originally, if I opened Borderlands 2 at low-moderate settings and had Skype video running at the same time the game would be unbearably choppy, but now it's no problem.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome RAM

Pros: + Price
+ Low Latency (one of the best for laptops)
+ Low Voltage
+ A-DATA Quality (made in Taiwan)
+ memtest was flawless

Cons: -N/A

Other Thoughts: Replaced 4GB on my Sony Vaio E14

Windows Experience Index went from 5.9 to 7.5

To most commentators on here saying their battery life hasn't changed -it's important to realize that if you're upgrading from one module (~4GB or less), you're replacing your single RAM stick with TWO modules instead now. Despite the lower operating voltage of the XPG (vs. 1.5-1.65 typically), you're still powering TWO modules now instead of just one, so if anything, your battery life should either stay the same or possibly decrease slightly. My laptop didn't experience any significant change in battery life.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Works perfectly without issue, and cpu-z shows it working exactly as advertised.

Cons: Didn't really increase my battery life like I'd hoped it would.

Other Thoughts: I bought this set as an upgrade for the 6GB my Acer V5-571P-6642 came with. The laptop has a 4-cell battery and only had about a 4-hour lifespan, so I bought this ram with the hope it would increase that by a bit. It DID increase it to 4 hours and 20 minutes, which IS an increase, but I was hoping for a little more.

I'd also like to note that the upgrade from 6GB to 8GB was almost entirely unnoticeable in my experience. Given the option to do it again, I think I would've just stuck with what I had. However, if you have 2-4 gigs it's definitely worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade

Pros: I can't speak for performance gains as the computer this is installed in immediately had the RAM swapped out for this, but it is well worth the money.
Has proven to be quick and reliable; besides, you can't go wrong with A-Data's lifetime warranty

Cons: none
