5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Plugged this SSD into the Intel motherboard and it worked great as a 60 GB cache utilizing Intel Smart Response Technology.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Using this SSD in an Intel DH77EB motherboard utilizing Intel Smart Response Technology (caching feature).
Intel DH77EB motherboard
Intel i5-3570K processor
8GB of G. Skill DDR3 1600 memory
2 Western Digital 7200 RPM 1GB Black hard drives in RAID 1 array
60GB ADATA mSata SSD
ASUS 24x DVD burner
Roswill 74 in 1 memory card reader.
UPS software indicates power usage is usually below 100 watts, and never exceeds 110 watts.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Cheap price. When it worked it was a decent SSD.

Cons: Clusters started dying within 1 month of ownership, and then the process accelerated so quickly that within a week the entire drive was unusable. Replaced with a more expensive and better brand. Don't cheap out on your SSD...you get what you pay for..

4 out of 5 eggsWork but will need adapter if it's for your desktop

Pros: Runs fast small compact. Transfer rates are decent.

Cons: Be careful finding an adapter if this is not for a laptop. I wanted to install this on my desktop and found newegg item number N82E16820211581 which is a SYBA SY-ADA40050 Mini-SATA to 2.5" SATA Adapter works even though the voltage seems incorrect it isn't. The drive works great but after needing a adapter from syba I might as well purchased a 2.5" SSD instead of a mSATA like this one.

Voltage is higher than some SSDs.

5 out of 5 eggsMy first SSD. WAY too fast!

Pros: Installed it on a Thinkpad T420 and it works perfectly (I'm typing from my Ubuntu installation on the drive).

This is my first SSD, so I can't compare it to any others, but this thing is freakishly fast. I go from a cold boot to Firefox being opened in maybe 10 seconds total. Programs launch nearly instantly, and everything is amazing.

Cons: It didn't come with a pony.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if this is the case on all mSATA boards, but there was a little nub underneath the second screw hole that was too large to fit into the screw hole of this card. It didn't prevent installation at all, but it meant that the board was at a bit of an angle and didn't quite lie flush with the motherboard. Most likely it is an issue with the motherboard, since the T420 is configured with an optional 4G card, which is where this module went. Once it is installed, you never have to deal with it again, so really not a big problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!!!

Pros: This mSATA SSD is amazing in my Lenovo Thinkpad T420. When this wasn't in stock, I decided to settle for the 64GB MyDigital SSD. Totally worthless. That thing is horrible. It performs worse than a 5400rpm HDD. the XM13 reaches around the same speeds as my desktop SSD the Crucial C300. Boot times are fast, application loading is a breeze. This thing rocks! definitely put your OS on this baby. soooo fast

Cons: The hole that is made for lining up with mSATA slots was too small for the pin on my Lenovo T420. Although it fits and sits in there perfectly snug, I would have liked for it to fit perfectly....for being such a perfect SSD for the money. This is a complete nonissue.

Other Thoughts: for the price...this thing beats the Intel 310 in my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product!

Pros: -Amazing read speeds, as advertised up to 250MB/S
-Affordable cost
-15 second boot times on my Ideapad Y470
-Good packaging and fast shipment
-reliable

Cons: -none so far

Other Thoughts: The sequential write speeds are not as stellar, around 70-80 mb/s, but that doesn't really affect my usage.
As far as performance this mSata SSD is better than Kingston mS100 and myDigital SSDs in tests.

5 out of 5 eggsdelivers what it promises

Pros: Got this for my Lenovo x220 laptop, to augment the harddrive. Moved my OSs (Win7, WinXPx64, Linux) and most of my often-accessed data to the SSD. Battery life went up, speed went up. Enjoying it very much.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: At the price, definitely worth a purchase.
