Patriot's Extreme Performance memory modules have stood at the fore of gaming modules and this DDR3 kit is no exception. This 4GB DDR3 1333 kit runs at the low latency of 7-7-7-20. The bladed aluminum heat spreaders keep the modules cool even when you push your system and its settings to the limits, and beyond.

These 100% tested modules come with Patriot's lifetime warranty for worry free use. In addition to quality tests, they've been tested with Intel's P35 and X38 chipsets. They are also RoHS compliant so you know that your system's increased performance isn't hurting the environment.

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Booted into it's 1333 7-7-7-20 first try and all at default voltages.
Cons: Price but, cheaper than all the other 4gb choices at this time.
Other Thoughts: using ram with Asus Maximus Extreme and a q6600 G0.

Memory is really 1066, not 1333!

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Supposed to be 1333 MHz.
Cons: My BIOS set memory speed to 1066. CPU-Z reported its max speed as 1066 (as coded in the SPD table on the RAM itself).
Other Thoughts: The manufacturer claimed to have never heard of this happening. Perhaps they haven't, but if you're using this memory, check it with CPU-Z and see if you got what you paid for.

great ram

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: this ram is great. its solid, fast, runs cool and is good for overclocking. by the way, patriot tech support is amazing. i had an issue with my mobo compatibility with this ram and they worked through it with me for nearly a month. eventually i found out it was a bios version issue and that fixed it but patriot tech support is amazing.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: ga-ep45t-ud3lr mobo. be careful of this mobo it has ram issues but updating the bios will fix it most likely.

Great RAM for overclocking

white Reviewed By: on 8/18/2009
Rating + 5
Tech Level Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Patriot lives up to its reputation for making high performance RAM. These modules are low latency and high frequency with considerable headroom for overclocking; they hit 1400MHz on my setup after a slight voltage boost, and I know I can get them higher.
Cons: To run the RAM at its advertised speeds, you have to go into the BIOS and manually set the timings/latency to 7-7-7-20 and the DDR3 voltage to 1.7V. Patriot should have included detailed instructions on how to do this for all the noobs out there.
Other Thoughts: Don't pay attention to the r3tards who posted that the RAM doesn't work as advertised, because it does. The price was a steal for such high performance DDR3 modules, so don't let a little BIOS editing discourage you from buying these.

Decent CAS Latency, but

Tech Level Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: High Latency, decently priced
Cons: Used an MSI 790FX GD70 with 1.3 BIOS, and booted to 1066 MHz. Had to research for which settings to force the right specs.
Other Thoughts: Can't really complain, other than its not compatible with all boards.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Anonymous
I'm sorry you had to configure your motherboard settings manually. Have you tried updating your BIOS? Our modules follow industry standards and have been tested thoroughly to ensure compliance with those standards.
