Patriot is serious about their lifetime warranty. Cons: Over the last four years, two sticks of this memory have died--which is why this review is four stars and not five. Cons: of 8 sticks I bought, 4 were dead from the get-go. Did mem-test on all ram and was absolutely frustrated by this. Other Thoughts: I will not ever purchase Patriot Ram again. I bought this one this time so I could max out my 4GB limit of my 32-bit Windows 7 installation. I now I have a 64-bit capable processor. Anyways, this is pretty good RAM. I only gave 4 stars because it is dated. DDR3 is the new standard. It's better and faster and that's just all there is to it. I didn't give less than 4 stars because this RAM actually is pretty fast when used in tandem along with my Intel Pentium E5700 3 GHz Dual-core CPU that I received right along with this. Cons: Just the fact that it's DDR2 really. I didn't wanna buy a DDR3 capable motherboard with an LGA 775 CPU that I bought at the same time as the RAM. Actually, I couldn't afford it and still can't. Also, I personally think this should have been about $15 max. Other Thoughts: Don't hesitate to buy this piece. It's nice.
