Pros: THIS RAM WORKS EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED WHEN YOU ENABLE "X.M.P." IN THE GIGABYTE X58 BIOS TO "PROFILE 1". THIS IS HIGH PERFORMANCE RAM AND HAS ITS OWN SETTING IN THE BIOS SPECIFICALLY FOR IT.

Cons: THERE WERE NO BIOS INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WHEN USING GIGABYTE MOTHERBOARDS THUS CAUSING CHAOS FOR GIGABYTE X58 OWNERS WHEN THEY COULD'NT GET IT TO POST AT 1600 MHz.

Other Thoughts: THIS RAM IS ROCK SOLID AND HAS ALLOWED ME TO REACH 4 GHZ WITH MY CORE I7 AND X58-UD4P WITHOUT A HITCH. BLAME PATRIOT FOR NO INSTRUCTIONS BUT DONT BLAME THEIR RAM.

Pros: Nice Looking

Cons: In response to the Patriot Rep referring people to Gigabyte for a solution to this ram not performating at spec on their boards, Gigabyte DOES NOT have a solution to this. Over the phone they advised I but a different brand of ram, over email they advised running at 1600mhz is overclocking and not supported, to try different ram to achieve the 1600mhz rating. Enabling xmp, setting everything to exactly what patriot recommonds absolutely does not work with this ram. Repeat if you own a gigabyte board do not buy this ram and expect it to run at 1600mhz. Patriot refers you to Gigabyte for a fix, Gigabyte advises buying different Ram.

Other Thoughts: I do not like being bumped between customer service reps with no resolution to an at this time very well known issue.

Pros: Inexpensive alternative to Dominators
They run nicely, no problems at all
for the same preformance at half the price.

Cons: so far, i dotn see any cons.
when there is, i think one might be broken LOL

Pros: Fast, does what is supposed to do. Solid construction. Heatsink/spreaders on both sides. Runs cool. It runs at it's spec for days on end. Have had no problems
