Pros: Modules work as advertised. Pretty blue heatsinks to match blue-themed case lighting. Inexpensive price. Very sturdy packaging means the modules arrive to you in the same condition in which they left the manufacturer...

Cons: Cheap cheap cheap. Weak and ineffective thermal tape attaches heatsink to chips. Ordered 2 packages and had 2 modules in 1 pack with loose/separated heatsinks. Compounding the problem is the fact that one must use the metal fins on the sink as handles and apply lateral force while inserting modules into sockets. Not a problem with the outer modules (when installing 6) because fingers can be used to gently squeeze the base of the heatsink to keep it from detaching from the chips. Not enough room while installing other modules to keep heatsinks from detaching.

Other Thoughts: Big thumbs-down for not using thermal epoxy to attach heatsinks. Issues like this, which are pretty much designed into the finished product, should at the VERY LEAST be caught before the product disappears into it's final packaging.

I don't think I'll be buying the cheap RAM anymore. Whether or not I buy Patriot again remains to be seen.

all with LLK or ELK i feel the patriot ram are expensive and well made

Cons: i think those early owner bought the ram for the price can cover almost 2 sets

Pros: Like other recent reviewers, I had issues trying to run a Corsair XMS set of RAM with my eVga X58 3-way SLI and core i7 920. I sent it back to Newegg for a full refund and went with this RAM, which works perfectly. I'm glad that I read other reviews and checked the eVGA site which lists this RAM as being compatible with my board. Set to XMP and runs at DDR3 1600.

Cons: Kindof a baby bluish color, how about deep red? :)

Other Thoughts: I've always had good luck with Patriot memory, I wish I had gone with this set from the start.

Pros: Inexpensive, completely compatable with my evga x58 board, posted right out of the gates with advertised speeds. Got these after Returning a deffective XMS3 6gb kit which had 2 bad modules.

Cons: None so far. Great buy

Other Thoughts: Running i7 these sticks are listed on EVGA's site as being compatable with their motherboards. Newegg was very helpful in the return process of the Corsair ram.

Pros: I've been using this ram (2 sets for 12GB total) for almost a year now, on an EVGA X58 Mobo with an i7 920. The ram has been flawless. When I did my build, I did notice only 10GB showing in my CPU gadget and also in the BIOS, then got the BSOD a few times. I tested the sticks by process of elimination and discovered one stick was bad REGARDLESS of the slot it was in. (Ed Note: It isn't always your mobo.)

So why still 5 stars? Because I contacted Patriot and one of the engineers (Phil) handled my RMA personally, and they had me a new set in 72 hours if I remember right. Then I returned the bad set (they replace the set, not just a stick, because the sets are matched). THAT'S customer service! The new set has worked for a year, flawlessly. I don't have a problem if a device fails... devices FAIL, that's life. How it's handled is key, and Patriot was outstanding.

Cons: Newegg requires text in the Cons section. FAIL. What if there aren't any?

Other Thoughts: Patriot and EVGA are the best in class for customer service (and speed of rebates!). The ram is great, the service is great, I'm DONE with other brands that leave you in the dust when you have an issue.

Pros: Have been running this ram over 2 months now. Scores 7.9 on WEI. Have it clocked at 1570mhz @ 8-8-8-20-1n timings with 1.66 Vdimm/1.25 Qpi volts. Very, very nice with a 4.11ghz i7 920. What more can I say?

Cons: 1. That it doesn't score 5 out of 5 stars.
2. People don't do enough research before buying.
3. More products aren't made in the USA.

Pros: Been running these in a P6X58D for about a month with no problems. XMP profile at 1600mhz is 9-9-9-24-2T, but have them running rock solid at 9-9-9-24-1T at 1674mhz. Going to see how high I can take them!

Cons: None at all...works as advertised and beyond. This is the first time I've used Patriot and am very please. It's a shame this RAM only scores 4 out of 5....should be 5 out of 5!

Other Thoughts: Be sure to check your MB's compatibility with this ram. Also, as many others have noted, you MUST manually adjust BIOS settings to work at anything above 1066. This is due to the Intel spec, not the rams fault! Do a little research for your board, it is definitely worth it if you want to raise your mhz. Had to raise the Dram volts to 1.66 and the QPi/Dram to 1.25 to work at any settings above the default 1066. Will try and add another 6gb sometime in the future for sure!

Pros: Beautiful RAM, greatly increased my system preformance! Pretty looking heatsinks and a really good price for the preformance.
