3 out of 5 eggsVery good, up until two weeks ago.

Pros: Very fast, has performed to everything I've wanted out of it.
No problems up until a month ago

Cons: One of the sticks of ram completely died. Out of nowhere, I was on doing usual gaming nothing too special and now can't do anything about it. There are no individual sticks for sale which makes me kind of disappointed, and the ram DOUBLED in price!
I bought it at 79.99$ and now it's 179.99$...

Other Thoughts: Wish I could do something to replace it without spending 100$+.

5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM

Pros: Fast, easily installed, works well with both OS X and Windows on my hackintosh.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Decent price, though I'm not sure how well overclocking will go. I'm not too worried about that.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: It's ram.
It's Cost effective.
On my Mobo's QVL @ 12Gigs for Asus P6X58D.

Cons: However, not stable in my system at 1333 for some reason. Numerous POST dump/crashes.
At 1066 not one single issue.
Online Lit says XMP only worx w/3sticks; I have 6- could be why crashes at 1333.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: I installed this in my first build which was September 2009. Asus P6T Deluxe V2. I had 6 gigs and added another 6 for a total of 12. Recognized the memory the first time. I have read that so many people having problems of the memory not being recognized. I made sure the memory slots were prefectly clean first of all. The contacts are so very small that that is a must. One small particle will prevent making contact.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsWindows 7 Memory Issues!

Pros: Blue heat-sinks.

Cons: put this in my NEW Asus p6t se mainboard, ran load test and windows crashed out with memory errors. system isn't even overclocked!

Am returning to newegg and will get different kind of ram.

Other Thoughts: Check to make sure that your mother board maker supports this ram in their board before ordering. Should have worked with mine but it's not on the QVL on Asus's website.

Manufacturer Response:

We're sorry that you had issues with your memory initially. Rest assured that our PVT36G1333ELK is fully tested and qualified on the Asus P6T SE motherboards. For any assitance with any issues please don't hesitate to contact us.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Runs stable at 7-7-7-20-1t-1.5v on my Gigabyte motherboard. Never had any problems with this ram and would definitely buy again.

Cons: Not a real con but be gentle on installing as not to bend or break the heatsink fins.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Ram

Pros: Great amount of ram. 6GB is plenty of ram for most work. Easy to install.

Cons: Watch out for the design. When you press down to install it, there is pressure pushing into your fingers from the top of the ram design. It's like spikes, but doesn't really bother me. Not much of a con.

Other Thoughts: Great amount of ram for all-around work. I recommend this to gamers and people who do heavy work on the computer. But if you do very heavy work, maybe you should look at a bit more ram?

1 out of 5 eggsjunk

Pros: will only work when it is the only memory installed. when it is installed with any other set of dimms, the computer will not post.

Cons: none

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Valued Customer,

We can only assure that it will work at it's rated specs in a (3 x 2GB) configuration it was sold in since this is how it was tested when it left our facility. We don't advise mixing and matching memory. Please don't hesitate to contact support@patriotmem.com to see if there is anything we can suggest to get your system fully running up to spec.

Regards,
Patriot Memory Support Team

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Good RAM
Decent for overclocking
Runs very cool
Good price/performance
OC's decently

Cons: The heatsink design. I hope the chips are held on very well, because I have heard about people who push down on the heatsinks to install the RAM and it ends up ripping the chips of the PCB. Hope that doesn't happen.

Other Thoughts: Will probably buy 6GB more of this for my workstation for a total of 12GB
