Give your gaming PC more muscle with Patriot G Series Sector 5 memory. Crush your enemies and jump to the top of the scoreboard!

One of the quickest ways to turn your computer into a gaming beast is to install powerful memory. Patriot understands this fact and offers hardcore gamers the efficiency of CAS 9 memory. You'll appreciate the high capacity of 4GB shared between two DIMMs, allowing you to double the data transfer by taking advantage of dual channel technology.

Furthermore, every gamer knows that heat slows down performance. Patriot understands this, which is why each G Series Sector 5 DIMM is equipped with a lightweight, heat-dispersing shield. You'll appreciate the low 1.65V voltage for lower internal temperatures and easier overclocking. Own this memory kit today and pwn your opponents every day!

3 out of 5 eggsGood Memory, But Jipped Me on Rebate

Pros: -The memory arrived working fine, and hasn't given me any problems.
-Relatively cheap after rebate (see Cons)

Cons: -I bought my memory on the last day of a rebate sale, and they got back to me saying that I did not qualify for the rebate as I (supposedly) purchased it after the rebate dates and did not give me any way to appeal my claim.

2 out of 5 eggsREBATE GAME

Pros: Good memory, working as advertised but needs a little timings tweaking when used for lower frequencies.

Cons: Patriot rebate game :
First Patriot sent me a rebate DENIAL written in bold on a small sheet without any envelope, it's like they are happy to announce to the world and who ever put eyes on that piece that the guy I am FAILED in something ...

That denial is the rresult of them playing a dates game, SUBTLE delays between days of purchase and date of rebate eligibility (although rebate was available when I bought the item!), Lucky I sent the rebate letter with signature confirmation, and made copies of all the ridiculous paperwork.

Phone person I called proposed to " switch me to the actual rebate ?!! without me having to re-mail anything.

Anyway I was trying to get $25 rebate in the shape of pre-paid card, and I have spent 5 dollars paying for the signature confirmation thing, Thne I had lately the surprise of receiving a $15 only rebate card ( actual benefit = $10 )

Other Thoughts: Worthless 10 bucks in a worthless and probably tricky trap-like prepaid credit card, compared to the time consumed, headache and stress of how to play this game right(rebate game)!, would Have been more rewarded playing some NFS most wanted...
Now rebate call center at patriot's don't answer phone at regular hours and advice you friendly to call back in " regular business hours!

No more Patriot stuff and no more rebates for me. Newegg rocks but should screen out sellers that don't honor their rebates.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Great price for the RAM, runs great in my box have not had any issues whats so ever

Cons: The cons I will say they are 2000 Mhz but again my mobo will only allow 1600 mhz. Other then that no issues so far.

Other Thoughts: ASUS M4A89GTD PRO motherboard, Radeon ATI DDR5 1GIG 5700 SERIES PCI-E video card, four Patriot G 'Sector 5' 2 gig sticks, Three Seagate SATA 2TB HDD. Windows 7 home premium.

5 out of 5 eggsPatriot 4gb ddr3 ram

Pros: Cheap memory, rebate is very nice, works good in Gigabyte 870 AM3 MB with AMD 1100t CPU no problems.

Cons: MB supposed to be rated at 2000 speeds but does not support higher than 1600 in bios. Its not the RAMS fault.

5 out of 5 eggsprice is what hooked me

Pros: does what it's advertised and maybe a tad better. I have stress tested these bad boys with prime95 and no crashes.
the timings on my setup were actually 9-9-9-27, maybe it's amd's integrated memory controller at work.
very happy with these

Cons: the little shims for cooling these sticks sit a bit high and I could see this being a problematic with some after market cpu coolers. This was a non issue however with the stock amd cooler for the phenom 2 x6 1090t black edition.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Beginners Memory

Pros: Great construction, fast, cool what more do you need?

Cons: Doesn't run at 2000 MHz off the bat as stated on the box, but thats not a deterrent as it still runs blazing fast

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Runs at advertised speeds...

Cons: ...but no more

Other Thoughts: At 1,950 Mhz, I cannot get it any lower than 9-11-9-27, and I needed 1.7V to get it there. I am going to try lower timings at 1,600, but it doesn't look like I can get much out of it.
