Patriot Memory Mac Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Memory for Apple Model PSA316G1333SK

Pros: It speed up my macbook pro but only for 90 days then it stopped working causing to beep 3 times and it will not start up.

Cons: It worked good for 90 days then my macbook Pro started to
beep 3 times indicated a ram problem. So i put back my original 4g ram then it worked again.

Pros: Works great, fast, stable speed increase detected on Mac mini late 2011.

Cons: Unless on sale, it will cost 80-100 bucks, but worth it if your running the factory 2 gigs.

Other Thoughts: Bought this on sale for my mac mini late 2011, came really quick. Noticed significant speed increase out of box w/o SSD, as Mac specialist said I would not notice much. THIS DOES WORK ON MAC MINI LATE 2011!

Pros: Works great with my Macbook Pro 17" (Early 2011). No idea why Apple would say max is 8gb for my laptop.

Cons: none

Pros: Firstly, the modules were easily removed from the packaging. Installation was easy, once I acquired the proper screwdrivers. This product was installed in my Late 2011 MacBook Pro, upgrading it from 4GB (base line that was installed by Apple) to the 16GB that I purchased. After installation, the computer booted right up, noticeably faster than normal and immediately recognized all 16GB in the slots.

This computer is used for Renderings using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro (both CS6) and Blender, render times were significantly decreased after installation of the RAM.

Cons: Have yet to run into any so far, will update if there are any

Other Thoughts: Don't be intimidated by the fact that you are using an Apple product, I have been upgrading IBM/PC's and Laptops for around 20+ years and I will be honest, not only is this the first Mac I have purchased, my last IBM/PC will be the last IBM/PC I ever buy (FYI - IBM/PC is what we referred to them back in the day to differentiate from Apple).

Pros: Just upgraded my macbook pro early 2011 model with this memory from 4gigs of ram. It is way faster and more responsive. Can multi task like a champ now.

Cons: None.

Pros: Arrived in perfect condition and was exactly what I needed. This memory expansion is great and running virtual machines no longer slows down my system.

Cons: N/A

Pros: 16Gbs of RAM

In my macbook pro, it makes it so the internal video card is now 512Mb, apposed to 300Mb. It handles multitasking like a champ, the timings are tight.

Cons: Not 1600Mhz

-only 1333, But the timings are tight.

Other Thoughts: All in all, a good buy, I dont regret it, and i'd recommend to friends.

Pros: I put this into my i7 Mac Mini (Oct 2011 prod) and it worked like a charm. All I can really say is WOW.

Cons: it wasn't free

Other Thoughts: I'm ordering this for my dad's Mac Mini just so he can get email THAT much faster. ;-)

Pros: NewEgg.com is very reliable and got my order on time!

Cons: The memory crashed my computer as soon as I restarted once installed. Ran 3 different memory tests and 2 of which failed in less than 10 seconds and shut my 27 Imac completely down. Would not recommend this brand, but maybe I got the one lemon out of a million? Trying Crucial now and we shall see if we can get a winner.

Pros: Great price, great quality.

Cons: Doesn't work in mid 2010 iMac 21.5" system.

Other Thoughts: I called apple prior to ordering this ram, checked with Patriot's site and it shows it is for my mid 2010 intel based iMac, but alas, it just arrived and I find out after installation that is clearly will NOT work. System recognizes 1 stick but not 2. Even when 2 are in, it only shows 8gb. Tried each one individually and they worked fine, but not paired. Search apple's site and says 4x4gb, each slot ONLY recognizes 4gb max. Thanks apple and thanks patriot for not having your stuff straight. Back to the drawing board.
