5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for Buck Period

Pros: Had this ram for 6 months now, worked flawlessly out of the box. Great speed and Cas Latency which is exactly what you want in a set of ram.

Out of the box my system recognized it and set the speed accordingly to 1600 with no problem.

I love the radioactive design on it, all in all i think this is the best deal you can find on desktop RAM period.

Cons: I don't know... *Generic toaster joke*

Other Thoughts: Like i said, i've had a great experience thus far with this RAM with absolutely no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM!

Pros: Everything about this RAM is Solid!
I manually set the timings and speed in the BIOS: 7-9-8-24 @ 1600.
I bought these over others because of the low timings and this RAM is running flawlessly.

For what it's worth, it scored exactly what I wanted, a 7.9 in Windows 7.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Fist time buying Mushkin and I will definitely be a return customer.
I haven't needed to contact customer support, but based on other reviews and from what I've experienced already, I feel confident in their abilities.

Installed these into the ASRock Z77 Extreme4.

5 out of 5 eggsTeam RAMrod

Pros: errr....Everything? Mushkin Enhanced: I hardly know you but I love you for your memory and SSD's. So does my Windows7 which rates my memory sticks at 7.8/7.9. If that doesn't convince you then its performance in real time will. In my opinion: Mushkin has earned it's rightful place along side Corsair, PNY, and Kingston.

Cons: Well, I suppose none. Where is my Mushkin badge?

Other Thoughts: This 7 latency should have been more of a straight-line 7-7-7-24 rather than 7-9-8-24. Still performs well however.

3 out of 5 eggsHeatsinks Garbage

Pros: Timings are awesome. Price is mediocre.

Cons: Went to put them in and pushing in middle slowly to hear the seated click. I could feel and hear the heatsink coming apart. They actually pushed down!

Other Thoughts: Mushkin fix this heatsink design! Other than that these are great. I have owned mushkin in the past and they have been great. I could have got the Patriot memory for cheaper with better heatsinks.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks, however, I am concerned

Pros: Computer booted after install! RAM was recognized!

Cons: Heat spreader unstuck itself from one of the sticks. Didn't like that too much. I pushed it back on, but I am concerned that I am not getting the full heat dissapation that I should. My ram slots have a blue light built in so that when i look straight at the ram I can see the blue light filter between some of the chips and the heat spreader.
The other stick I can only see light filter between the spaces of the chips; there is no light between the chips and the heat spreader.

I can not get the heat spreader to stick 100% to all of the chips.

Other Thoughts: I bought this after doing some research on timings and found the Mushkin to have some nice timings. I have NOT tried to push these sticks yet, and am actually concerned that I will damage them now because the spreader has seperated and will not stick to all of the chips.

I have had one bsod/reboot since installing these. I can't say for sure that it was because of the sticks, but builders no how that goes.

The color is lost on me, but this isn't a con as the case sits near the floor anyway and I'm not looking at it.
