It was easy to install and felt durable. Runs fairly cool according to the ASUS Thermal Radar. Cons: None. Other Thoughts: My ASUS motherboard was detecting the timing on the RAM at 1333 and if I tried to manually adjust to 1866 it would cause a BSOD. I did some digging around on the internet and found that some other people had to go in and manually set the timing in the BIOS. Cons: AS the review title says, these won't post as 1866 mhz. They also won't post as 1600 mhz. I get either a fail to boot message, or a BSOD when they are anything more than 1333. Other Thoughts: Build: AMD 8150fx, Gigabyte 990fx UD5, Intel 520 SSD 120gb, Nvidia 560 ti, 16gb Mushkin 1866mhz (these sticks) According to the motherboard, and the CPU, they both support 1866 but, I can't seem to get a boot into windows at all with them set as 1866. 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Put this kit into my gigabyte z68 ud4 motherboard and they run perfect with XMP profile1. Its more of a dark, satin red ... rather than a bright Red as it appears in the pictures here. Feels very heavy, and very well made. Perfect match for my EVGA MOBO. All I cant say is ... BRILLIANT! Cons: None other than .... It wasn't free? Free is always good right? :) Other Thoughts: This has been my second set of Mushkin RAM, and certainly will not be the last. The other set I have had the Frostbyte Heatsinks on them. For 1.5v RAM, large heatspreads probably are not needed, unless you plan on heavily OCing them but ...
