5 out of 5 eggs7 MONTHS LATER

Pros: I've had no issues with this RAM what so ever. When I first built my PC I thought that it might not fit next to my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler; especially with the some what large heat sinks. Although luckily that was not the case. I don't need more memory but having more memory is always nice to have. I may get another set in the near future.

Cons: Heat sinks are kind of large. May have to manually set RAM timing in bios.

Other Thoughts: The only thing I would have done differently is that I should have saved up another $30 dollars for 16GB (2 x 8 GB).

5 out of 5 eggsMushkin Black Ridgeback

Pros: I bought one set of these for my ASUS P8Z68-V Pro MB and they work as expected when set to Profile 1. The heatspreader on this memory is very impressive. Looks and feels and is solid aluminum attached with screws. Liked them so much that I bought a second set to fill up the board.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Never had a problem with anything that had the Mushkin name on it.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Mushkin - The Best There Is!

Pros: Installed in a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 motherboard, set the BIOS profile to XMP Profile1. All parameters were set and no other settings need to be messed with.

It's rock solid and very stable RAM! Stays constant with no issues during the PassMark BurnIn Test.

Cons: None!

It wasn't priced "two for one".

Other Thoughts: I have used Mushkin Enhanced RAM for over a decade now, with one stray using Kingston.

Mushkin is not the most inexpensive RAM available, usually about 10% higher, but it's stable and reliable. In my opinion there is no better RAM out there. Plus they're a US company.
