5 out of 5 eggsAmazing modules! Massive OC

Pros: I have these modules running at 2400 MHz with 11-13-13-31 timings and 1.644 voltage. Passed a couple of runs of memtest86 and has been stable in normal computing for a few weeks now.

Cons: None so far. (wish the PCB was black instead of green)

Other Thoughts: At first I was annoyed because I realized after placing my order, I had accidentally bought these instead of the 2133 modules I originally wanted, but once I put these in and looked up the timings for the 2400 Enhanced Blacklines, I set these to XMP Profile 1, and manually adjusted timings and voltage to the 2400 sticks. I was amazed at the overclockability of these chips!

4 out of 5 eggsParts go bad. It's what vendor does after!!

Pros: Memory has good latencies. Mushkin also has excellent support behind their products.

Cons: only 4 of 5 due to 1 stick going bad.

Other Thoughts: Mushkin mad everything right even over a year down the road. Bad memory test - they didn't bat an eye at replacing both sticks

4 out of 5 eggsBummer! One fried module!

Pros: This was a great set of ram. It worked well, played Deus Ex like a boss, and my system zipped like nothing else. Having owned a Mushkin set before, I was happy to see that this stuff made my eight core AMD desktop rock. Very minimal lags, and excellent heat dispersal, my computer rarely got hot.

Cons: About a month later, my computer started experiencing hang ups and freezes. I tested my hard disks first, and doing a SMART conveyance test hung the system, originally leading me to think that the disk controller on my mobo had gone out. However, a quick ten minute test in Memtest86+ revealed at from 512 MB on, my first module was fried. Such dissapointment! Reseating didn't fix the issue.
Still, you have to bite the ram frying bullet one day, and I'm glad I can still work with the other stick.

Other Thoughts: I like Mushkin. I really do. They tend to surprise me, and the ram, while it worked, did the job well.
I'm just bummed out about this set. I will see if I can get a return and get a replacement stick, but if not, I might need to get a new stick of a different brand. It could be that I was just part of a bad factory run. Tends to happen to motherboards. Why not ram?
