The Gold Standard is here! OCZ's Gold Edition DDR3 memory module set the standards for high speed memory modules. This dual channel 2GB kit is rated to run at 1333MHz and has CL 9-9-9-26 timings for speedy performance. Each kit is 100% hand tested for performance and compatibility.

The XTC heat spreaders are designed to take advantage of the micro convection currents that occur in the channels between the individual memory chips. The gold mirrored honeycomb design facilitates maximum heat distribution. The rigid frame, in addition to proclaiming to the world what memory you use also helps to reinforce structural rigidity in the module.

OCZ knows that you want to win, and that means pushing your system to the limits. That's why they have a 1.9V EVP plan. You can push you're the VDIMM on your motherboard up to 1.9V without voiding your warranty.

Pros: Runs fast like it should

Cons: I bought 2gb instead of 4.

Other Thoughts: Had some issues with my mobo, but the problem wasn't with the ram. Don't know why you wouldn't just buy 4gb of this instead of 2 tho...

Pros: Memory Works Great. Running on DX48BT2 Intel Motherboard with E8400 Duo Processor. Smoking Fast.
DDR3 is great.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this product. Make sure to be quick on submitting rebates. Must be postmarked within 12 days of purchase date..

wait-isnt this 1333 RAM?

Pros: it is fast RAM and good value

Cons: -according to PC wizard- its not PC3-10666, its PC3-8500 and running under 1100Mhz

Manufacturer Response:Hello, this memory is rated at 1333mhz. The SPD may be set at 1066mhz for compatibility, or you system may be electing to run at the lower speeds (don't have access to the data ATM). PC Wizard is simply reporting the present RAM speed. Pros: I have 4gb of this in my box and it runs super fast. Games, programs, movies, no problems. Also stays pretty cool under load.

Cons: Does not make puppies, oh and it isn't free
