3 out of 5 eggsGood product, bad support

Pros: Fast RAM at a very nice price.

Cons: The second set I ordered had incorrect SPD entries.
I created a trouble ticket with OCZ days ago and have yet to hear back. Their form said to expect a response within 24 hours.

Other Thoughts: As a system builder who has really come to like OCZ products (mainly RAM and PSUs) it is very troubling to have a poor experience with their customer care. I offer my customers a one year warranty on the systems I build and expect to be able to service their concerns promptly. When it comes to supporting and replacing hardware, I'm completely dependent on the companies from whom I buy parts. Luckily, Newegg rocks.

5 out of 5 eggsOCZ, Looks Solid, Runs Solid

Pros: Great looking RAM out of the box, Looks put together well, pretty flashy platinum color. Running 8 gigs on a Asus M4A79T-deluxe with 64-bit vista. Make sure you set timings and voltage to specified timings in bios, 1333 @ 7-7-7-20 @ 1.8 volts, for stability..great value! was on the Quality Vendor List (QVL) on asus's website for my board with everything checked for compatibily (was one of few that was)..

Cons: was not stable at asus default timings, but after i set them to reccomended, works perfectly with no errors :o)

Other Thoughts: never tried this brand, but so far glad i did. would have went with 1600mhz rated ram, but looking at asus's QVL it seemed like the 1333 rated ram was the more preferred ram anyway and ran more stable on this board.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome ... Flexible

Pros: Replaced a 2x1G kit of OCZ3P13332gk for the 2x2G kit of OCZ3P13334GK. Started with stock timings and voltages on a GA-x48t-DQ6 mother board. After 2 weeks of tweaking and days of testing in Memtest86 and Prime95, I am now running at 6 6 6 20, trfc 71, tDR 7 and 1T. Had some help from OCZ tech support to start with recommendations on initial settings when going from 2G to 4G. Very helpful!

Cons: None!!!! Could have used some help lifting that Thermaltake Armour case ... HEAVY, but very, very good!

Other Thoughts: I think one of the reasons I have had such good luck with tweaking these memory sticks is due to the mother board and the case. I liked the CrazyCool heat sink that was on the back of the mother board, but putting on a Zalman 9200 cpu cooler, it got in the way ...so, something had to change. So, I took a hackwaw to the heatsink and cut off just enough for the new cooler to fit, but enough under the NorthBridge to help cool. Add the Thermaltake Armour case with 23 cm side fan which blows right on the ram and NorthBridge and all motherboard heat sinks and all is cool ... system seldom goes over 31C. Not over clocked.

System: GA-x48t-DQG, E8400 Wolfdale, Zalman 9200, EVGA 8600GT Overclocked, 750W Cooler Master power supply.

4 out of 5 eggsYay

Pros: DDR3, 4gb, listed on QVL for my mobo, works at rated specs after tweaking on the mobo *see other thoughts

Cons: Didn't detect 7-7-7-20 @1.8v by default

Other Thoughts: When I plugged them in they were running 1066mhz 7-7-7-20 @ 1.5v. First went to bios and changed voltage to the rated 1.8v and to 1333mhz. Then they showed up as 9-9-9-? @ 1.8v. Had to go back into the bios and manually set all the timings to 1333mhz 7-7-7-20 @ 1.8v. They work fine at rated specs. Not recommended if you don't know what you're doing =p

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM for the buck!

Pros: Just as the title says, great RAM for the money! (Yeah, yeah, I know I said "buck") It's not on the "Use this RAM" list for my MoBo, but it works great! I'm using Windows Vista 32 bit, though, so not ALL of it is being used all the time.

Cons: Not REALLY a con, but just beware if you are getting Vista 32 bit, that not ALL of the RAM will be utilized 100% of the time. Still getting used to all of differences, since this is my first personal build with Vista, but I do plan on upgrading to 64 bit, or the new windows coming out later. Using 2 out of 4 gigs is kinda unsettling at times :P

3 out of 5 eggsI guess it could be good ram...

Pros: It's at a good price now, and OCZ support is helpful

Cons: DON't get it if you have the evga 790i for the win!
There are horrible compatibility issues!

Other Thoughts: Just read other peoples reviews and make sure it will work flawlessly with your motherboard!

3 out of 5 eggsoverkill

Pros: not too bad of a price, good quality, nice size

Cons: way ahead of its time. until we get solid state hard drives, it's slower than ddr2 800(your best choice right now)

Other Thoughts: OCZ is a good brand.
