false advertising
- Pros: cheap, fast for most tasks
- Cons: I own this driver over 6 month and tried on 2 laptops, desktop and my server (withraid cards), all running on AHCI mode, non of them show NCQ enabled, this is not a SATA II interface HDD.
- Other Thoughts: unless heavy IO during multi-tasking, most parts are fine.
-
Manufacturer Response:Hello, these drives are indeed SATA II compliant. Please visit our support forums at the link below for more information, and for suggested settings. We do not recommend running in ACHI mode with these drives. Thank you

Failed *RMA Experience*
- Pros: The RMA drive shipped was new and not a refurb, props to OCZ for that.. after 6 months most drive failures get RMA'd with a refurb with other brands.. Also shiped replacement w/2nd day Air. Whole RMA process took about 2 weeks. Going to give them an extra star for this.
- Cons: Still failed after 6 months, had to pay to ship it to them.
- Other Thoughts: As long as this new one lasts several years I will be extremely happy with this drive, despite its small capacity.
-
Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry for the problem, and happy that our RMA service took care of your needs. Drive failures are uncommon. Your replacement drive should give you reliable service well into the future. Thank you
Failed
- Pros: Quick drive, low cost SSD, USB port has been handy, no problems getting a RMA from OCZ
- Cons: Failed after 6 months of Desktop/Wokstation use, IO errors over SATA and drive would fail to register over USB. if it did register it would error on any attempt to access. Was my boot & apps drive, failure had extremely poor timing and the downtime likely cost more than the drive its self. Luckily backup's were available and working fine.
- Other Thoughts: I am not the only one who has reported this problem, I have a Mtron SSD running in a production server that see's alot more use... its been running for almost 2 years w/no problems and it is just as fast. However I paid alot more for it so go figure.
