Terry 32 1/13/2010 6:30:36 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Worked great first time Pros: XMP profiles worked as promised on my GA-X58A-UD7 and according to Gigabyte should run 12GB (6 x 2GB) without issue at 1600. Cons: None so far, maybe the i7 logo if you bought these and put them in an AMD system, hopefully people will buy a dual channel kit for that. Other Thoughts: Cannot wait to get another set and test out 12GB, 6GB is a nice step up from the 4GB I had on my old AMD system, I can actually run a VM and give it a decent amount of ram to work with. The look is great. I almost thought they had the green PCB design but then noticed the other review on here was writen in mistake for the other OCZ memory. Six months ago when I bought it the price was almost half what its going for now. Cons: None. Other Thoughts: Works between 1.60 - 1.65 volts on the classified as the motherboard may slightly overvolt the ram you might want to set the Classified 1.60 - 1.62 and start from there. RMA through Newegg was easy. I definitely appreciate having Newegg. Cons: Only 4GB out of the 6GB was detected. One of the sticks was DOA. I contacted OCZ support and provided the timings and settings. They replied with their standard response, and asked for the timings and settings and motherboard specs. After I provided those to them (again), I didn't hear anything from OCZ for several days. After I called them, they issued an RMA but could only replace it with a different memory. It was also out of stock with Newegg. So, I simply refunded the memory and bought it from a local store who matched Newegg's price. Other Thoughts: OCZ technical support left a lot to be desired. Not pro-active, not timely. Since the memory is only sold in sets of 3, you have to replace all three. Neither Newegg nor OCZ would replace just one stick. This was hard because you have to have some memory to keep your computer running... This was inconvenient. Manufacturer Response: Hello, we are very sorry that you had problems with this product, and communication issues with support. We take these reports seriously and will investigate. techfuzz 11/5/2009 6:42:37 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5High Quality Memory Pros: These are running on an EVGA X58 SLI with no problems so far. They have 2 XMP profiles which work fine with this motherboard. Stock settings are quite low so make sure you select an XMP profile or manually adjust the timings. I currently have them using the XMP profile (8-8-8-24 @ 1600). Recommended voltage is 1.65V so make sure you manually set that too. Cons: None Other Thoughts: I think the black heat spreaders look really nice on this memory and not to mention that they memory stays cool to the touch. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Ended up taking out all the sticks and using memtest to check each one. 1 stick immediately had hundreds of errors. The other two work fine. From reading on here it seems I would have to send back all 3 for RMA, and I am an IT major in college and can't go without my computer for any amount of time as all of my classes are online this semester.
