Cons: slow, slower than the 360gig hdd it replaced that died

Other Thoughts: Had I done a bit more research,i'd have bought something a bit faster. But was replacing a drive that died, and time was not on my side.

Other Thoughts: This being my first experience owning an SSD and purchasing from OCZ, I have to say I am very dissapointed. I have put an RMA ticket in just now and hopefully it will not be more of a pain than it already is. My HDD that is currently in my computer as a backup has worked for over 5 years and my only complaints with it is the speed and the noise it produces, other than that it has been reliable compared to this OCZ SSD.

Pros: -fast

Cons: The price per GB may have been less than $1/GB, but SSDs are still rather expensive compared to hard drives

Other Thoughts: I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my little brother and helped him set his computer up with it and a fresh install of Windows to ensure maximum speed.

He was resistant about the idea of reinstalling Windows at first but now that all is said and done, he is very happy with it. He likes to brag about how much faster *everything* on his computer loads than on all his friend's computers which I think is a good way to tell that an SSD is a great addition if your budget allows.

Pros: Works pretty quickly at least compared to a HDD. I love how quiet it is and the added battery life to my laptop since SSD's use less power. Also got a good deal on it. I paid $75 and got a $15 MIR. But you get what you pay for...

Cons: Gave out after 3 months. My laptop froze, I attempted to restart and it never got past the boot screen. I put in an old HDD and it started right up and the SSD could not be seen when plugged into an external hard drive case. Super lame having your laptop give out, even lamer to lose all of your data. I left it at 2 stars because I just RMA'd OCZ so depending on whether or not they can help me out, the score will go up or down. I get that sometimes, things fail, but if they can't own it, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Pros: The windows load time is really fast compaired to my HDD

Pros: Fast decent performance

Cons: Failed after only 3 months. No warning, just died from one day to the next.

Other Thoughts: When these drives come down in price, it will make everyone fall in love with their pc and laptop again.

Pros: Installed effortlessly, Mac, Windows 7, Linux Mint
Works perfectly, except for possible hibernation issues on Thinkpad T61p

Cons: Not sure if it's the drive or something else I installed, but my laptop which runs both Windows 7 and Linux Mint doesn't always hibernate correctly, but I really don't think it's the fault of the drive.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these when they were on sale with a rebate and it was a great deal for SSDs that work without any trouble. Linux Mint boots up in like 3 seconds on my Thinkpad.

Pros: This SSD is a decent product. It is a bit aged for an SSD but the price is right. I was getting over 200MB/sec on HD Tune. I first must state, I had the "Vertex Plus" which has been replaced by this product free of charge from OCZ (hence R2 - revision 2). With little effort, OCZ replaced my product in a very timely matter. A week later, my Western Digital hdd went out within the warranty period and they wouldn't replace it without the receipt. OCZ has earned my respect for replacing their products free of charge. This will keep me coming back to purchase their products.

Cons: A bit out of date, however OCZ offers faster and newer models.

Other Thoughts: I am planning on using it for the O/S and purchase another specifically for installing games on. Game loading times increased substantially with my previous one.
