Increased speed and overall performance of my older PC. Cons: None. Other Thoughts: Like others, I was skeptical because of the low price. I figured, for $40, it was woth a try to upgrade from 512 to 2G memory (2 1G sticks). Even with minimal tech skills this memory can be put into a tower in about 5-10 minutes. My PC used to lag when opening and using either Firefox or Chrome. Not any more. Surfing is just as fast as my kids new computer now. Very happy with purchase! Thanks Newegg!!!!! MSI MS-7008 MOBO Cons: Took a lot of research and effort to get it to work. The details shown for this card says it is 2.5V. The One I got is 2.75V. Check the voltage shown on the card. Other Thoughts: Almost gave up on it. Was real close to just throwing it in the trash. My PC would not boot up at first. I finally got it to boot, then nothing functioned properly. I went into setup and changed the voltage setting from 2.5V to 2.75V and it booted and everything works great now even though my old card is 2.5V. Did you find this review helpful?
