5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Ram - Enough said.

Pros: This ram is incredible. I've had one set for nearly 4 and a half years and just recently got a second set and both sets have worked perfectly - not a single hiccup. Running them at 4-4-4-12 timing at 667mhz with a E6600 overclocked to 3ghz/1333mhz FSB.

Cons: None. Maybe price? I paid over twice this for the first set 4 and a half years ago, and the second set I paid 50 bucks, which is actually somewhat expensive as you can get 8 gigs of DDR3 for over 50 bucks.

Other Thoughts: Made me a G.Skill customer for life.

1 out of 5 eggsBought 2x1GB sticks last year- just died

Pros: For the past few months I've had some odd problems I couldn't put my finger on. Then when I went to boot up 3 days ago, I got one long beep and no POST. That's RAM. I pulled this G-Skill garbage and now the machine boots again.

Cons: The memory has been terrible, it will not overclock (not even 10%) and it just died on me after a year. Unreliable, unstable and poor quality.

Other Thoughts: Now I know why I have read so many bad reviews on G-Skill products lately.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer

We are sorry to hear the memory has issues. Please send it in for RMA and the replacements should work better. This kit should have no problem overclocking. You need to raise voltage or timings to achieve better results. If you would like assistance, please feel free to visit our forums. There are many members that can help with overclocking.

Thank you

Quality and customer service are our top priorities.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy!

Pros: I got this memory to give a rather old computer a new breath of life. It was running old budget memory, 2x 512mb DDR2 533. I can't say the difference in performance is as high as I expected, but it's much-much more stable when overclocking the CPU.

- Really neat packaging
- Nice heat spreaders
- So far the memory is working as expected
- It arrived a day early! I wasn't expecting to get the package so soon.

Cons: - Not too much of a con, but if you want the 4-4-4-12 latency as advertised, you will have to the latency settings in your motherboards BIOS. If your BIOS does not support these settings, your memory will run at 5-5-5-15 instead. This is only a tiny difference in performance for most applications though.

Other Thoughts: This was my first G.SKILL product and probably not my last!

- If your motherboard has 4 or more DDR2 slots, make sure you insert each stick into the same-colored slot ( Or per your motherboard manual instructions ) so you get the Dual-Channel performance.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome RAM

Pros: Runs at 4-4-4-12 timings at 1.9v. Fast and stable.

Cons: Can't think of any, other than that it is DDR2, and that DDR3 is the way to go now.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome RAM!

Pros: Highest frequency of DDR2 (not OC'ed), to my knowledge
Dual-Channel memory (they work in sync)
IMO, cool color of heat shields (never seen ones the same color :) )

Cons: none so far, and probably not ever!

Thank you G.Skill!

Other Thoughts: make sure you check your motherboard's specs to see what's the highest + safest frequency (like 800 MHz DDR2) that it takes and if it takes dual channel

5 out of 5 eggsG. Skill Always Satisfies

Pros: Nothing much to say but I picked up two of these for my mother's PC, which had Vista and 1gb of ram (for real), so I felt she needed the boost. Low and behold it did the her 3gb total and nothing takes much at all to process. I didn't expect anything totally amazing, and I have gotten DOA sticks from G.Skill before, so I'm just glad they do their job.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: With no plans to overclock and little expectations, they went well beyond what I had hoped. Even when I took out her standard 2x500mb sticks, these booted and loaded the most resource happy apps on her computer just fine. I have 8gb of DDR3 RipJaws in my PC, so I don't expect them to do quite that much, but they do the job very well...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Runs stable @ 4-4-4-12 @ 1.8v.

Upped my FSB from 266 to 400 to OC my CPU. Stock was 266 FSB x 9 CPU multiplier = 2.4 Ghz CPU.

OC'ed to:
400 FSB x 7 CPU multiplier = 2.8 Ghz CPU (only running stock cooling).

RAM was no longer stable @ 1.8v. Not stable @ 1.9v. Stable @ 2.0v.

Works great!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Already owned 2x1GB of these from about 4 years ago. No problems with them. Purchased 2GB more to bring my to 4GB.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 @ F14 (latest bios revision)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo e6600 2x2.4Ghz
