Pros: I use different maker's ram and this ram
from G. Skill always works perfect. I've used
this particular item or model number from
G. Skill on other units and it always works
great.

Cons: None. I DO wish DD-2 ram would come down in
price though.

Other Thoughts: Newegg as usual handled my order as always..
with perfection.

Pros: Got them for an upgrade from 2x1 to this 2x2. Faster than the originals.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Some laptops need to enter BIOS, so they can properly "see" the new RAM.

Pros: Works just as described. Really tuned up my Acer Aspire 5100. Very quick delivery!

Pros: Surprisingly, it arrived unbroken..... (they put the RAM in a paper envelope!)....everything from "the jungle" comes in a box (hint).

Cons: THE KIT DOESN'T WORK!!!....or with another 2GB stick. Before anyone questions my testing......i tested them together in my HP550, and a Dell D630 at work. I have tried other 4GB kits and they pass tests. The sticks in this kit do not run with any other 2GB...(i repeat) NOT EVEN EACH OTHER!!!

I have never come across such strange RAM. I should have bought Crucial, as the 2GB kit in this HP was Micron OEM. Or maybe i would have had better luck buying from "the jungle".

Other Thoughts: I'm not in the U.S. so this bad RAM already cost me 50% extra in shipping & taxes. It doesn't even make sense to RMA.....a refund might be a better option for me.......never buy the cheapest of anything...i keep forgetting...

We are sorry to hear you had issues. Test each module individually to see if they can work properly. If they work alone, they should work together. The HP550 laptop is only rated for 2GB max, so two 2GB modules may not work properly. The Dell D630 laptop does support 8GB max, so this memory kit should work well for that computer. Pros: replaced memory in dell d620... like night and day!

Cons: none

Pros: Works perfect in A1181 Macbook 2007. Big Improvment over 1GB.

Pros: Worked great! for a couple of months.....

Cons: I began getting the blue screen of death after about 2.5 months, after trying to wake the computer up from hibernation. Computer would randomly shut down and lose everything not saved to hard drive. After installing factory RAM once more all problems stopped and the computer resumed functioning normally. Quite convieniently after the 30 warranty was up, for all of the deals newegg as provided me, thanks for making up for it and burning $45 of mine!

Other Thoughts: I have had multiple GSKILL products with no problems, the fact that these turned out faulty is NEWEGGS mistake on shotty return policies, of course if i spend $45 on RAM i EXPECT them to last more then 30 days!

Pros: What's not to like? Upgraded from 2 gb pc2 4200 to 4 gb pc2 5300 max for my Inspiron E1705 running windows 7 Pro 32 bit. After boot I got a message about memory change and after it asked if I wanted to continue. I said yes and all was well. Moderate improvement in system performance. Good procuct.

Cons: Not anyones fault but the cost per gig of pc2 is high. Guess it happens when it's not made anymore.

Other Thoughts: If you want to extend the useful life of your machine it's worth it. I love this laptop. I fix these things for people and know that it runs clean and fast. I wish it wasn't as heavy as a Buick.

Pros: Great price
Zero problems with the 40-60GB's of this brand.
All around great reliability.

Other Thoughts: I use all major brands. G.SKILL being one of them which has not given any problems. I don't know who makes all the memory, I don't believe that memory all come from different manufacturers, I tend to think that most memory is manufactured by the same few companies.
Like I said before, I have purchased 40-60GB's of SODIMM memory & over 150GB's of desktop memory since 2009. With that being said I have not had to RMA any memory & since I'm reviewing G.SKILL, I have not had to RMA any of these branded memory module's, nor have I had any complaints from customers who had me upgrade their desktops or notebooks. Price is always a part of building systems so when G.SKILL is the one on sale at newegg.com I buy it. I don't worry about RMA's & since some memory module's may sit for weeks at a time, I still have no problems. So with all being said, I wouldn't worry about this brand. if you do have to do an RMA, it's about the first time that I've heard about it by either a bad stick or compatibility issues....

Pros: Works well with my T60 fit right in.
